    Chromatic Pedal Tuner

Easily tune your guitar or bass on stage with this Chromatic Pedal Tuner from Monoprice!

This tuner is designed to fit into your pedal rack and features a heavy-duty metal construction and activation button. It has two 1/4" TS outputs, Normal and Bypass. The Normal output is muted whenever the tuner is activated and the Bypass output ignores the tuner completely and outputs whatever comes in over the 1/4" TS Input jack.

It has a tuning range from A0 (27.5Hz) to C8 (4186Hz) and is accurate to within ± 1 cent. It can be calibrated to between 436 ~ 445Hz in 1Hz increments and supports the application of 1, 2, or 3 flats to the tuning. The pedal is powered with either a 9V alkaline or heavy-duty battery or with a 9VDC power adapter. Batteries and power adapters sold separately.

I needed a tuner that had BIG letters and the ability to tune in flat mode. What do I mean by flat mode? Well, the band tunes down a half step so our E is actually Eb but we don't call it Eb, we call it E. All you do is click the Flat button and you can drop into flat mode or even go two steps further. In flat mode you tune to E and you see E on the screen but your note is actually Eb. Get it? Simple! The tuner appears to be True Bypass. I used Monoprice's Next Day service and got it in one day!

PROS: Metal case. Simple to use. BIG letters. Bypass mode as well as Mute mode. Battery included.

PROS: Tuner works as it should for less than at the guitar shops.

Great tuner (as far as I can tell)
Really like this piece of gear. Not a guitar player by trade but every once in a while it is necessary to play one at a show and the utility and need for an on stage tuner became quickly apparent, luckily, as with most things these days, monoprice had me covered, and for way cheaper than anywhere else.

I checked it against my KORG tuner using the true bypass, and they seemed to come up with more or less the same results, so it seems accurate for my purpose. And even without the battery in, I found that it could be a great mute button for my guitar using the regular output.

Just make sure you're using a TS cable to activate it, not a TRS, I even tried hotpluging the TRS, but it wouldn't stay on consistently..

    PROS: Small

CONS: No power adapter included..but that's probably good to keep the price down

    Chromatic Tuner
The only thing preventing me from giving this a 10 is that it is in fact not as precise as other expensive tuners. I use this to tune my bass and I've noticed that my band mates' $100 Boss/Korg chromatic tuners do display more slight variations and deviance from a perfect tune for more precision when tuning.

That being said, I have been using this thing at practice and gigs for almost a year now and it gets the job done. For $20 I am in tune, the construction is sturdy and the tuner is very close to as accurate as far more expensive ones. I'm really not sure how much there is to gain by buying a more expensive chromatic tuner pedal.

    PROS: Sturdy

CONS: Not AS accurate as expensive tuners

    Fast, clear and accurate tuner
I bought two of these because of the reviews online, as my Boss TU-2 was less than stellar. They work about as fast as my Snark headstock Tuners, which is to say, excellent. The display is bright and very easy to read. It comes with a 9V battery. It uses a standard Boss style 9V plug. I run mine off a One Spot. The housing is plastic, but I don't think I'll break it. If I do, I could just buy 3 more for the price of a Boss tuner. I can't see buying any other tuner as long as they still sell this.

    PROS: Bright
    Standard 9V plug
    Includes battery
On par with speed and accuracy of Snark
    Faster than a Boss TU-2

    CONS: Plastic
I had to peel off the rubber feet to attach Velcro for my pedal board, but that's pretty standard for most pedals.

    Works well
This tuner is solidly made and has an enormous display, easy to read on stage. It takes a moment to settle in on the first string, but then cruises through the other strings with no problems.

    PROS: Large, bright display.

    Great Tuner
There is no other pedal tuner on the market that offers as good of value as this pedal. I have purchased four of them just to give out to my friends. The pedal is very well build and feels like it will hold up. The true bypass means that you can leave the pedal plugged in and it does not drain the battery. The tuner is reasonably accurate and has worked very well for me. The one downside for me is the rather odd design of the battery door. It does not sit completely flush with the bottom of the pedal, so if you are velcroing it to a pedal board you have to leave the battery door off.

    PROS: -Solid Construction

    -True Bypass

    -Screen is easy to read

    -Very Cheap

CONS: -Difficult to add velcro to bottom

    -Battery door feels flimsy

    Outstanding value!!
works perfect, bright blue led display easy to see on any stage. works for drop tunings too, I play a 7 string in B standard, and also a guitar dropped to open C tuning with absolutely no issues with the pedal. I also use a wireless unit live, and still no problems using this pedal on my board. Stop reading my review and add it to your cart already!!

PROS: Feels tough, good build quality
Bright blue led screen easy to read on dark stage
    Low Price for outstanding product.

    CONS: None!! buy it NOW!!
