Low quality.

Pros: The material feels nice. The ridges on the keys F and J are well-defined.

Cons: The printing is extremely poor. Almost every single key is off-center. The Control key is printed so far to the right that it looks like it's right-justified and not left-justified like it actually is. The "dim keyboard" icon on F5 is tiny for no reason. On most keys the black does not extend all the way to the edge, which looks ugly. The hole on the Caps Lock key does not line up with the light. On some keys there are random dots where black ink is missing.

Not only are the printed parts bad but the clear parts are bad too. It's not completely clear, it's slightly dark. And there are some "skid marks" that I can't wipe off.

The edges are too wide, especially the top and bottom edges. They protrude upward from the keyboard sink, causing the corners to protrude upward even more, so the "fn" and right-arow keys never stay in place.

The killer is that the key wells are too deep, so instead of resting right on top of each key, the material sags. This makes typing miserable.

Maybe some people are able to tolerate this, but I can't. I would like a refund.

Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about your experience with PID 10387. May I ask what is the make and model number of the Macbook you are using the cover with? Could you send a photo showing misalignment on the keyboard cover with your Macbook? Also, would you happen to have your order number so that I may look further into the matter? Thanks in advance!

Get a cup of coffee instead

Pros: decent fit for keyboard layout

Cons: worthless
limited adhesive
makes typing difficult.

I had read the negative reviews of this cover, but I thought "Well, shoot. It's the price of a cup of coffee. Why not give it a shot?" This keyboard cover really is that bad. In short, I installed it, and as soon as I started writing my first email message, I took it back off. It is very difficult to touch-type quickly with this cover because of the rigidity of the individual key covers. I can't see typing more than a short email with this cover on because it is so difficult to type. Writing is a big part of my occupation, so this makes my machine basically unusable. I strongly recommend getting a cup of coffee instead.

Fits but overall not worth it

Cons: - Gap between cover and keys
- Almost all of the printed keys (letters, number, symbols, etc) are off center.
- Doesn't let backlight shine through

The fit is slightly off, there is a noticeable gap between the keys and the cover which makes a typing significantly harder than without a cover on it.

The hole for the caps lock green light is off, and you can only see maybe 1/4 of the light. It's not stated in the product description if it is or not, but the cover is also not see through, so the backlight from the keyboard will be blocked. Almost all the keys that are printed on the cover are also off center.

When i look at the back of the cover it also looks like it is pretty scratched up for some reason.

Overall if you need something cheap to protect your keyboard I guess this would work, but it is far from a perfect fit and I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants a cover that will not affect your typing or the look of the Macbook air 2013.

Pros: Does the job
Soft touch
Decent fit

Cons: -Pushes back against the screen's bezel, and subsequently the Air's magnet closing/locking mechanism. The laptop still closes all the way, but the magnet's force is severely reduced almost nonexistent.
-Not the easiest thing to type on, edges of the keys are firm.. feels like there's a hard box around each key. Not a problem if you hit every key dead center.. which is tough.

This is the only keyboard cover I've ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to.
