This premium slip case wraps your iPad® 2, New iPad (aka iPad 3), or iPad With Retina Display (aka iPad 4) within a durable, yet pliant, padded nylon-covered plastic shell. The iPad slips inside the case and the lid is folded down, gripping the front with a light magnetic force. The inside of the case has a soft, satin-like finish, protecting your iPad's exterior from scratches and abrasions.
The iPad must be removed from the case for normal operation, although openings along the sides allow you to keep your earphones plugged in, so you can enjoy your music on the go.
The case has a black, padded nylon finish.

Pros: Looks very nice, bought for a gift and it looks fantastic.

Pros: - Fit
- Slim profile
Cons: - Basic protection only
I bought this for my iPad 3, first gen. It fits great and I like the slim profile. Keep in mind that this is a sleeve and provided good protection except for drops. Also, It fits snug and won't accommodate an iPad with another case on it. It was exactly what I was looking for at a great price.

Pros: Good protection with a nice look
Cons: Auto on works but is awkward since the iPad had to be "gripped" to remove. Usually end up opening an unintended app. I tuen the feature off in settings.
Overall this is a great case. I use this along with the TPU case available on monoprice (on iPad 2) for added protection once the iPad is removed. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
