This mount bracket supports adjustments in three dimensions; it can be swiveled ±60°, can be tilted ±15°, and can be rotated ±5°, for final leveling adjustments. It has undergone extensive safety testing and has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which ensures that it will perform safely and reliably.

This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern between 100x200 and 400x400, which includes most 32" to 55" TVs*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 55 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware and cable management clips are included.

    Great full motion mount
This mount is beefy. The mount allows movement that allow monitors to be mounted together. The monitors are used in a window wall. They are perfectly aligned perfectly.

PROS: Solid Mount- Full motion - Easy Installation - All necessary Screws and Parts

    CONS: No cons

    Flat Panel TV Mounts
Bought 2 of these mounts, one for a 46" LCD flap panel and the other for a 42" plasma. Have had nothing but problems with these mounts and their ability to maintain the tilt of the panels - they keep tilting down as if the mount can't support the weight of the TV's. These TV's are well within the weight limits of the mounts. Very disppointed - this is the first time I have been disappointed in quality from Monoprice. I will be replacing these mounts.

    PROS: Price

    CONS: Flimsy.

PROS: Cheap price. Sturdy. Good actuation.

    Great TV Mount
Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

PROS: Great mount at a great price!

CONS: The instructions were not very good, and it wasn't as easy to install as it seemed like it should be.

    A great wall mount
Although this mount says the maximum size TV is 47", my Samsung 55" falls easily within the mount's weight limitations and works great. I attached to a wall surrounded by a modular entertainment center and was concerned that only one end of the mount would attach to a stud. I was able to attach the mount to a piece of 3/4" plywood which then attached to two adjacent studs. It is very sturdy, and the plywood and mount are totally hidden by the TV. Suggestion: use bolts and T-nuts to attach the mount to the plywood. That is more secure than lag screws into the plywood.

    PROS: Heavy and sturdy
    Reasonably easy to install

CONS: Does not easily span between two studs

    Perfect Fit
I bought this mount to install in a new basement bar area. I could not be happier in the design and function of this wall mount. First I installed the mount to the wall, so it would be attached to a smooth hardy backer surface. I then installed the stone on the wall, going around the mount. Because of the way the bracket works, I am able to push the TV practically flush against the stone for a nice clean look. The mount is sturdy and has stayed in position after I tilted it up, down, left and right to get it the way I wanted. Would recommend.

    PROS: Very functional

    Sturdy

    Looks good

CONS: I little more than I wanted to spend on a wall mount

Excellent mount. Just needed a little tightening of the bolts in the arms in order to hold 47" tv.

Good Buy... Buyer Beware of Compatibility Issues with inputs... read on
All in all, this is a good mount for the price considering the fact that it tilts, swivels, and turns. However, I mounted a Sony television with recessed HDMI inputs in the back - no problem there. The issue is/was that the Sony power cable and optical audio out happen to not plug in to the recessed area. Rather, they plug straight in to the back of the television. The plate that fastens to the back of the television obstrutced access to these 2 critical ports. To no fault of the mount, we had to do some modifications. The power cable was able to slip through one of the vents in the back plate mounted to the TV. Unfortunately, we had to drill through the metal mount to access the optical audio output. So... make sure you dont have anything plugging in to the back of the TV (on the outermost bevel) and you should be OK. One other thing... the 42" Sony we hung didnt offer much flexibility in where the mount itself attached to the television. In the end, we had about 2-2.5 inches of black mount arms hanging below the television. Lastly, for those who complain about the mount not being able to handle the tilt... THAT is what the allen key is for in the mount box. Use it tighten the interior bolts on the tilt panel behind the mount snugly to get your tv to sit where you want it. Once the tilt is set, I highly doubt you will be titling to another angle.

    Enjoy.

    PROS: Light weight

    Easy to mount

CONS: Back plate on tv-side mount is solid

Sticks out farther than desirable when set flush

Not ideal for 47" with TV mounting screws set low on the rear of television

    Not quite as spec'd
The product looked promising and in fact looked like pretty good quality for the price. The problem I have is that it does not extend long enough to swivel a 42 inch TV 180 degrees. I never mounted it, but I measured it and there is no way it could swivel 180 degrees. You can probably get 120 degrees at best. With a smaller TV you may get more degrees. The specs should mention this so consumers don't waste their time.

I am providing a rating of 6 on the documentation and not the quality of the device.

PROS: Good metal gauge, good hardware

CONS: The 180 degree swivel is not correct

    A bit flimsy
I install television and home theater equipment for a living. I had a customer that wanted a television hung, but didn't want to pay for the bracket I normally use, so I purchased this one, which is about 1/3 the price, and told him I couldn't guarantee quality, since I have never used one. I was also curious if this would be something I could use instead of the other brand in the future.

This bracket says it is able to handle up to a 47" television. I mounted a 42" Sony LCD on it, and it was nothing but a hassle. First of all, most brackets have holes in the base that can handle many different widths of studs. This bracket did not. I had to drill holes where the studs were, because they happened to be 3" closer together where the television needed to be mounted.

That wasn't a huge problem, but when I got the television mounted, I immediately noticed that it kept tilting down. This is obviously what the allen wrench was for, so I tightened the bolts. Again, it started dropping down. I tightened them again, even harder, and again it tilted. Every time I would tighten the bolts as tight as I could, I would push the television back, and it would tilt. I would magically find that the bolts were still able to tighten again. After tightening the bolts about 10 times, they finally held, kind of. The television would still come down if any pressure was put on it.

After I got the bolts tightened so that the tilt would hold, I looked at how the bracket was behind the television. I noticed that the bracket was bowing, which added to the downward tilt. I would lift the television up from the bottom, and it would never quite straighten out all the way, even though I was holding the weight off of it.

Ultimately, I left the bracket where it was. It didn't appear that it would break, but it was certainly much more flimsy than it looks, and I wouldn't even guarantee that the bracket wouldn't break.

I will not be purchasing another one of these brackets. They are just not well thought out, and I wouldn't trust them to work.

PROS: It is full motion, and unlike some other full motion brackets, the bracket is hidden when the television is pushed toward the wall. It also doesn't look too bad, once installed.

CONS: Vertical tilt is very hard to get to stay stable.

Bracket bends under weight of 42" LCD.

Holes on bracket are only able to span studs if they are perfectly spaced, which almost never happens.
