MONOPRIOCE Wall Mount Logo Locations

Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Adjustable Tilting Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!

This mount bracket features an ultra-slim form factor, which puts the back of the TV only about 1.1" away from the wall, making it ideal for displays with side or bottom facing connections. It has the ability to tilt up 12 degrees downward, making it ideal for overhead displays in a commercial setting or for keeping the TV out of reach of little hands at home. It has undergone extensive safety testing and has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which ensures that it will perform safely and reliably.

This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern between 100x75 and 400x400, which includes most 32" to 55" TVs*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 88 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). It features a built-in spirit level and mounting hardware is included.

* Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

Solid, quality mount

Pros: Sturdy construction, slim profile, easy to install, super low price compared to others of same quality.

Cons: None.

At first I was a bit worried by other reviewers who said they had trouble with the philips-head screws, but I just made sure to use the right size bit and had no issues whatsoever - very easy and secure installation.

I had previously bought a similarly-priced unit from Best Buy, but the release tabs for the bottom rail were plastic and broke during installation so I returned it. I was very impressed with the materials of construction of this mount - no plastic parts, all metal. This is a solid, quality mount at an extremely reasonable price.

Cheap and flimpsy, pass

Pros: Cheap. Sturdier than it looks when mounted properly. Was able to properly mount one of my TVs.

Cons: First, not all its screws fit modern TVs, do your research. I just assumed they'd fit. Second, the screws are cheap. I ruined ALL the screws that fit due to the drilling I NORMALLY do when I screw screws into my walls. I had to go to Lowe's and find higher-quality screws of the same size.

I bought two mounts after my wife and I bought our home. I have a 46" Samsung 1080p from 2010 that's still top-notch when it comes to picture quality. The included bolts fit just fine sans being stripped. But my other TV, a mid-tier Vizio, oh no, NONE of the screws fit and I had to RMA it. Also, like I said before, the screws are cheap, too. While I'm satisfied with the mount with my Samsung, I should've done a little more research.

Cheap doesn't always mean bang-for-your-buck, folks.

Thank you for your review on PID 10486! My apologies for the inconvenient experience faced with this tilting wall mount. Unfortunately, due to various component manufacturers, it is difficult for us to supply mounting screws compatible with all displays. When the correct mounting screw for your display is not apart of the manual for our mount, it is best advised that you contact the manufacturer of your display, identify the correct screw, and purchase the mounting screws from a local hardware store. Regarding the bolts that were stripped, I will submit a complaint on them for our product team to take into consideration. Truly sorry again for any trouble this may have caused and should you have any questions on our products, please feel free to contact our tech support team via live chat, email, or phone.

Not a good choice

Pros: Small profile

Cons: Hard to install because the little ends of the arms that go in the TV, that have to fit in the back of the frame that is installed in the wall (4th picture in the the description) do not fit. We had to dismount the TV like 3 times and make some forces in the frame to make it fit. I have installed several TV mounts before (that's my business) and it is the first time this happens to me. A job that is to perform in no more than 15 minutes took me about 40 minutes

Not a good choice. The mechanism to lock the arms in the frame does not fit and needed "creativity" to make it fit

Works... but not up to par

Pros: Simple enough design. Price was nice.

Cons: Doesn't fit 24" studs. Phillips head screws for days.

I was amazed to find this mount for the price that I did when everything at Wal-Mart and Target were close to $100. I was excited to get my TV on the wall when this came in. Little did I know what an uphill battle I had in front of me.

The first, and biggest problem, was that the wall bracket is only made for 16" studs. Mine are 24"... Problem. I know this is partially my fault, I should have checked the product specs more carefully. But the only way to tell is the width of the bracket. A slightly more prominent note in the description would have been appreciated.

Thankfully, the previous home owners had a left a wall plate that, by some miracle, worked with the TV bracket of this mount. This is the point where I started realized the issues with the hardware. Every screw on this thing is phillips head, from the tilt locking screws to the hardware to actually bolt the TV to the thing. I felt like I was getting more screw slippage than actual tightening. I really would have preferred torx, or at least hex when tightening something like this where I want to ensure everything is locked down. I'm still terrified my TV is just going to start tilting on its own.

At the end of the day, sure, my TV is fairly secure on the wall, but I was not all that satisfied with the quality of the mount. As many of the other reviewers have said, it's jus not quite what I expect from monoprice.
