Vertical Adjusting Ceiling Bracket for Projector w/ 300 - 400mm Extension (Max 22Lbs) - BLACK

This bracket allows you to mount your projector to a ceiling with an angle of up to 15 degrees.

This mount holds a projector from the top at a distance of 11.8" to 15.7" (300-400 mm) from the ceiling surface. It can accommodate projectors with a 3 or 4 mounting holes and a spacing diameter of 1.6" to 12.2" (40-310 mm) and a weight of up to 22 lbs (10 kg).

Provided the total diameter of the projectors wires/cables is less than the internal diameter of the vertical mounting bar they can be contained within the vertical bar for a neat and professional appearance. The projector can be tilted in both the horizontal and vertical axes, ±5 degrees horizontally and ±15 degrees vertically. Positioning screws allow precise control of the tilt angles, while locking screws keep it in the perfect position.

    Doable but not easy

Pros: Cheap as hell. Looks reasonable once installed. Cable management is useful.

Cons: Machining sloppy in places. Instructions are terrible. Adjustments are imprecise.

I do not regret purchasing this item. However, the process was irritating in many ways. The metal is sloppily machined in places. Everything fits together once assisted by a gentle hammer tap but there are sharp burs on almost every piece. The manual is non-linear and the grammar therein is awful awful to the point of being difficult to follow.

There was also a bit of an issue with the projector I own having its mounting holes a few inches from the center of mass, which makes the mount want to tilt. Luckily, I was able to tighten the hardware enough that it would stop.

My last concern is that the adjustments are difficult to perform when this thing is hanging a foot from the ceiling and you cannot see the screws. Every adjustment introduces an unwanted adjustment along or around a different axis.

Anyway, after about 2 hours it's hanging securely and the projector is aligned. I would not NOT recommend it, but be prepared for some frustration.

    Versatile mount

Pros: -Lots of adjustment points for all dimensional tweaks to align my projector.
-Used it for the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 3020, only 3 of the available 4 projector mount connections were possible to use due to the layout on the projector.
    -Great Value

Cons: Included instructions are really bad and very hard to follow. Example - they mention using screw 8 which is not included in the kit. For mounting the bracket to the ceiling, the instructions provide no guidance on what types of wall the included hardware is for. I was not able to position the bracket at a ceiling joist due to screen center point, requiring the mount location to straddle joists so I ended getting separate toggle bolts to fasten the bracket to the ceiling, which is older style plaster.

Were it not for the terrible instructions included I would rate this much higher. Tip - Before you start loosely assemble the mount using all of the incl hardware, with this process of elimination you will figure out what the remaining pieces of hardware are for.

Pros: Easy to install. Exactly as described. Looks great..

Cons: Had to drill extra mounting holes in center of ceiling mount to make sure it hit the joist.

Easy to install. Lots of adjustments for positioning projector.
