Perfect addition for our game room & for the grandsons Xbox.
Amazing price for the quality other stores same style was at least $138 dollars double MonoPrice!
PROS: Easy to assemble, looks great, perfect size for game our room.
PROS: Height for the tv mount is perfect, not to high not to low (53 inches).
Good shelf space for at least 6 different components.
Seems nice and sturdy so far.
CONS: Shelves are made of glass which was not stated in the item description.
No cord/cable management at all.
When this arrived I was sort of skeptical about being able to put it together but after reading the instructions...if all else fails read the instructions...I thought I could handle it.
Though it took me a hour to put together don't let that turn anybody away from this fine stand. I would say normally it wouldn't take anymore than 20 minutes to put it together.
The illustrated instructions are easy to follow and one person can put together the stand.
Connecting the brackets to the back of my TV was easy as can be (43" Samsung Plasma 400x400 pattern). 4 screws and 4 mounting washers and done.
Mounting the TV to the stand was the only thing I needed assistance with and my wife and I accomplished that in 10 seconds then I clamped down the TV which took another ½ minute.
The stand is beautiful. The black glass shelves may not be for everybody but for us they're perfect.
The stand is very sturdy and stable so no more worrying about the grandchildren or dogs pulling the TV off the stand...if someone is going to pull this stand down then they're going to have a concerted effort to do it.
While it's true there isn't a cable management system included that is easy enough to remedy with tie tabs and some black conduit I had laying around. ?
PROS: Very easy to put together even for these Parkinson's affected hands.
CONS: No cable management
CONS: No cable management.
Tip: Bring your own metric adult-size metric Allen Wrench Set (I used wrench set I also use for my bicycle). You'll get more leverage than the tiny wrench supplied. (I never understand the penny cheapness of all self-assembly companies).
Tip II: Work on a carpet or other protected surface so not to scratch floor or glass.
PROS: Positive Surprise: Kit includes variety of screws to mount your TV regardless of brand (various VESA TV mounts). Kudos!
CONS: While parts arrived without damage, I could see how damage could happen. I suggest sturdier packaging for a less chance of damage by baboons in the shipping companies working 3 am to sort heavy packages.
Note: there is no cable management (fully disclosed).
PROS: Easy to build and TV can rotate for adjusting viewing angles.
-it offered two back feet instead of one (including the centre column for the mount), preventing the wobbling if any descernable weight is placed in the back left or right corners.
-offering a hole at the top and bottom of the centre column for cable management, even if just the above-glass part, would've been a nice addition.
-an adjustable-height centre column would've scored another point.
PROS: -Looks fantastic
-Easy to setup
-Fits almost all of my needs
CONS: -Woefully low weight limit
-Cheap "feet" - I have one where the bottom cover won't stay on, luckily I don't have to move the thing very often
-No cable management
-Wobbles very easily due to feet placement
PROS: Good construction. Sturdy. Nice looking. Easy access to all shelves. All required mounting hardware is included.
CONS: No cable management system. TV sits a little too high even when adjusted as far down as possible. Could use a little bigger adjustment range.
PROS: Fairly easy to assemble, just follow the instructions carefully.
CONS: I would prefer support legs at the rear of the unit for better balance. I would also prefer the shelves didn't have clipped corners in the rear. That would give a little more space but also would allow for the placement of the additional supports for the legs. A cable guide attachment would be nice.
