    Adjustable Tilting Desk Mount Bracket for LCD LED (Max 33Lbs, 10~23inch) - Black

    Free space on your desk and gain improved ergonomics by using this Adjustable Tilting Monitor Desk Mount Bracket from Monoprice!

    Using a desk mount bracket provides additional desk space by moving the monitor above the desk. It allows you to position your monitor at eye level, which reduces neck/back strain and pain from lengthy sessions in front of the computer.

    This mount attaches to the edge of a desk, table, or other horizontal surface. It has two 6.3" extension arms, which allows you to position your monitor at exactly the right height, angle, and distance. The monitor can be tilted and rotated, allowing for easy conversion between landscape and portrait mode on the monitor. It fits monitors up weighing to 33 lbs., with either 75x75 or 100x100 VESA mounting patterns.

    Features:

    • Fits monitors with VESA 75x75 and 100x100 mounting patterns

    A new standard in our office

    Pros: Sturdy.
    Easy to set up.
    Flexible in terms of placement and most adjustments.

    Cons: A little stiff initially.
    Making adjustments to the vertical placement requires using the Allen wrench.
    The tilt component is not as firm as I would like it to be.

    I purchased this unit expressly to use at home in my recording studio for voice-over. It took about fifteen minutes to set up. The unit was stiff and made me a little anxious about adjustments initially. Once I'd broken it in a bit, however, it was easy enough to adjust.

    I was impressed enough with the stand, that I purchased another unit for my desk at work. It was quickly noticed by my co-workers, and has subsequently become the standard for our developers to use when coding, because it allows the screen to easily rotate 90 degrees to present the code in portrait view.

    I rated this as 4 stars due to some areas where it could improve: greater ease in adjusting the height and greater firmness in the tilt. I think 4.5 stars is more accurate, but it wasn't an option. Regardless, it's a safe purchase, and Monoprice's support of their products is second to none.

    Stand Failed

    Stand had a design flaw. There are 4 tiny screws which attach the black base to the chrome post (it is not welded). The threads are very small. The screws pull out of the post and the stand and your monitor come crashing to the ground. I have submitted a support ticket, don't know what Monoprice will do, but I would stay away from this. The monitor I was supporting only weighed 6 lbs, so it was not overweight.

    Pros: Sturdy

    Cons: VESA screws provided are slightly to long for for Monoprice 28" monitor (product number 13809).

    Works well and is sturdy.

    Works great, however when shipping out of the US, watch out for duty

    Pros: * Mount is great quality
    * Good support
    * Works for 27' monitor
    * No issues with mounting or movement

    Cons: * Duty surprise ended up essentially doubling the cost of this mount. If in Canada, look at other sellers that sell from Canada
    * Was missing an Allen key to mount. Not an issue as I have some, but was expecting as it came with one
    * The monitor turns from 180 to 90 wayyy to easily. It's been tightened and everything that can be done to fix this has been tried, but still no luck

    Great mount, and surprisingly well built given the cost. It was missing one allen key, and the duty really did sour the buy, but, after it's up and mounted with the monitor, it looks and functions great.

    Can't standup to the weight of an iMac

    Pros: Easy to install & very adjustable.

    Cons: Can't hold the specified weight.

    Doesn't hold the specified weight. While it held my 24" Toshiba display without issue, it buckled under the weight of my 27 lb, 27" iMac. Tightening the arms with a socket wrench helped for a few hours, but it didn't take long for the monitor to sag back to the desktop surface.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about the sag issues experienced with PID 6421. If I may ask, can we try swapping the iMac and its VESA plate to the other arm that is working with the Toshiba display? Please let me know your results so we can best look into this issue with you. Also, if possible, please send me a picture of the sagging arm. My apologies for the trouble and thank you in advance!
