Pros: Clear Picture at 1080p @60hz,audio up to 192000kz @ 24bit, 5.1 digital dolby, (that's all my computer can output)

Cons: Very minimal delay when first sends output to the receiver , not instant on but after initial start up, no issues. No sync issues either. I'm just being really picky here, there really isn't any con for this product.

Ordered this back in 2012 to run my PC, which is in my basement, to my receiver upstairs. It's on daily at least 5hrs & it's still going strong. I'm using CAT6 as recommended by Monoprice tech. It hasn't failed yet. I get excellent video & audio from this unit & it's never unplugged. I notice the on light,(little red light on unit), is off until a signal is active by turning the receiver on. If the computer is off then the unit's light is also off.
I see other review's that rate this product bad, but for me it's worked perfectly for me & I would recommend this. Now that being said, I also use the Cabernet Series Active High Speed HDMI® Cable with RedMere® Technology, 50ft to run to another receiver in the basement. I used a DVI to HDMI adapter so I could use that output from my computer to go to the second receiver. My video card outputs audio & video through the DVI output. The Cabernet Series Active High Speed HDMI® Cable with RedMere® Technology, 50ft cable worked as well with only a slightly slower initial start up when first activated. I got 1080p @ 60hz , 192000 24 bit audio through the cable also.

    Pros: cheap price

Cons: sometimes they might not work...

I purchased 2 of these sets. one to use in customers install and one to have in stock...
got no video signal out of either unit, (led would power on and off when plugged to wall)
I have used them before but got 2 at same time bad now have to go back to job site and install extender from different source...

Pros: inexpensive and easy to deploy

Cons: sensitive to power and static fluctuation.

I have purchased these but they are VERY sensitive to 110v power and static. I have a location where these only work for about a year then all of a sudden they need to be replaced because I get blinking red lights.

Pros: Used them before with no issues this time they bit me in the butt!

I have used these before so I bought three more for stock. today I tried using one over 134' of cable.... nothing, tried the other two and neither of them worked either. tested cables all paired and no shorts. Apparently these don't do 60 meters anymore. Not real happy and not I have an unhappy customer as well because I need to make another trip to finish the job with someone elses product.

Pros: Got it working on a 208ft run with Cat6 23AWG. The repeater works excellent and I dont notice any delay. I'm have Google Fiber and just a warning make sure you specify 720p resolution, it will not work at the default 1080p. However once set to 720p its be awesome, I would buy it again.

Cons: Knocking off 1 star because it doesnt work on 1080p format over 208ft.

Its works great, just make sure if using Google Fiber TV you set your TV Box to 720p. At 208ft on my run 1080p wont work.

    Hello Nutt,

Thank you for your review. I just wanted to note that the 6532 is designed to send a 1080p signal up to 196ft. Now there is a chance that it can work at longer lengths but since it is not designed for over 196ft you would likely experience signal degradation if it does work. Which is likely the reason why you can get 720p and not 1080p at 208ft.
