Ordered 3 of these for my Time Warner digital boxes so I could hide the boxes. Worked so well I ordered 2 more. Great price & fast delivery.

Bought 6 of these receiver and none of them worked

    Pros: No pros

    Cons: All cons

I bought 6 of these receivers so that I can use them to connect to the connecting block which had 6 connections for emitters. None of these IR receivers worked. Nothing happens when I connect them to the block. Just the blue light (for IR confirm) lights up and then nothing happens. (No signal detected when I used the remote control to send signal)

Did not work with my Denon AVR-X4000

    Pros: inexpensive

    Cons: not compatible with everything.

Plugged it in didn't work, works with my comcast cable box., but not the receiver. The input is not a dual frequency cause i checked with Denon support.

    Hello Tony,

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear of the issues you have experienced with PID 8060. The 8060 would use a single band frequency. It sounds like the cable box is single band as well since it works with it but looking into Denon receivers users state that most Denon receivers are dual band. I know Denon support stated that it is not a dual band frequency which would mean it is a single band frequency. It may just be a compatibility issue if that is the case or the receiver may possibly use a dual band frequency. I usually recommend when extending IR to use dual band for it is backwards compatible with single band. If you would like I can set up an RMA for a refund on the 8060 if you are not satisfied with the item. Just let me know and I can get that set up.

    Not a 12 V IR receiver

    • Mina,

    Cons: Not a 12 V

bought it to connect it to ATON DLA speaker selector system., it requires direct connection (wires instead of 3.5mm jack), i searched all over the internet for data sheet but couldnt find one, instead i got my 12 V source and started connecting all sort of combinations to make it work with no Luck, apparently this does not run on 12 V as claimed, also you will not find any details for it online.

    Hello Mina,

Thank you for your review and my apologies for any inconvenience. PID 8060 is intended to be used with a single band IR device that utilizes the 3.5mm connection to connect the cable. If I may ask, was the cable cut to connect it to the IR wire terminals of your ATON DLA Speaker Selector? Also, PID 8060 would not be a 12V cable. I do not see any indication that PID 8060 is a 12V cable. Did you happen to remember where you had seen that stated?
