    Onyx 22-Inch Travel Carry-On with 15-inch Laptop Compartment - Black

    Carry your laptop, clothing, and other essentials with you on the go with this Onyx Travel Carry-On with Laptop Compartment from Monoprice!

    This durable and light weight carry-on is a rich black color, and features 4 rolling wheels for 360° mobility. The large extendable handle allows for easy maneuverability and collapses to become flush with the bag for overhead storage. The handle is designed to be used with our matching companion Laptop Clamshell bag, which simply slides over the handle with its rear strap.

    The main compartment interior has two straps with buckles to keep your stuff in place, and a zippered pouch for additional storage. The main compartment has an exterior zipper that allows the main compartment to expand if needed. The zippers on the main compartment are capable of being locked together with your padlock or keylock of choice.

    The handle makes this bag unusable

    Pros: The bag itself is great, holds everything I need it to.

    Cons: The handle is crap!

    So I am now on my 4th bag. Monoprice after some initial difficulties has been great about replacing this bag. The handle on this one actually lasted 4 months which was a record for me. The handle design and implementation is just horrible. The handle on this bag is now useless and apparently I have used up my RMA capabilities with this order even though it is still within the one year general warranty and this particular item has a limited lifetime warranty. I really do like this bag, but the handle makes it worthless.

    Thank you for your review on PID 10596. I truly apologize for the inconvenient experience you have faced with this carry-on. If I may ask, can you explain to me what issues you experienced with the handle exactly? Such as, has it broken off, is it failing to pull up, etc.? Also, do you have the order number for this purchase so I can look into the matter further? Please be aware that only our cables have a lifetime warranty. All other items included this bag are covered with a one year warranty unless otherwise noted in the product's description. Truly sorry for the trouble and I hope this helps.

    Thank you, Kelly. I looked into the past RMAs and discussed the situation with my supervisor. Since three out of the four bags were damaged during transit, we will be able to setup another RMA for replacement. Or, if truly dissatisfied with the item, I can set it up as a return for store credit instead. As a side-note, please be aware that if another replacement is sent out, the warranty period would only be good for one year from the original purchase date (8/25/2014). A fresh warranty would not be applied to the new bag. Please let me know if either of these options will work. My apologies for the confusion before and thank you for your patience.

    Love this bag. I had bought this carry on as a Christmas gift for my brother and was very impressed with it the moment I received it that I decided to order one for myself!

    Pros: So far I love this case. Rugged and seeming durable. Haven't taken it on flight yet, so still have to see how that will work out. For my all around goto bag, though it is working well.

    Pros: Nice bag. Fairly stylish.

    Cons: Top handle ripped off.

    I really liked this bag. I even went so far as to compare it to my girlfriend's new Sampsonite bag. I had high hopes for its longevity, but today on my forth time using it the rivit which held the handle on broke. I guess I will have to buy a new one.

    Only con that I have is one airline made me check the bag and would not let me carry it on. When I arrived at my destination and picked up my bag the pull out handle had snapped off and I had to carry in hand instead of wheeling it. Otherwise I really enjoyed the bag, my Macbook Pro fit well in the compartment, wheels were smooth, decent size main area for clothes and what not. Just dissapointed that my first trip with the bag, the handle broke after going through checked baggage.
