Thank you for you review and truly sorry to hear about the issues experienced with PID 5551. If I may ask, which drivers did you install (CD, product page, or UCLogic)? If they were the drivers from the included disc or from the product page, I strongly recommend uninstalling all tablet drivers from the computer (including any others such as from Wacom should you have any), restarting, and installing the following drivers with the tablet disconnected from the computer:

After the drivers have fully installed and the computer has been restarted, it will be safe to connect the tablet. From there, please test the tablet to see if it is functioning properly. If still experiencing issues, I recommend testing the tablet with other USB ports on the Mac. Please let me know your results so we can look into this further. Regarding the track pad, it sounds like the drivers for it may have been uninstalled by mistake. It would be best to contact Apple support for further assistance in reinstalling those. My apologies for the trouble and I hope this helps.

Pros: I am an online math tutor. It has been great using it on the online whiteboard to write equations. Once you get used to it, it becomes incredibly easy to use and you don't have to think about it. For what I needed, spending any more money would have been ridiculous. I am really happy and thankful I found this site.

Cons: none.

Awesome product. Read the pro's. that is the review

Pen pressure only works in settings

Pros: It works, as a mouse and can do ink in Word and Acrobat but the pressure function doesn't work.

Cons: Pen pressure doesn't work in Word and Acrobat. Using Windows 8.1

I did install the latest drivers from UC Logic. The pen works as a pointing device and can do basic writing, but the pressure function doesn't work in Word. The reason why I bought this is to be able to efficiently hand-sign professional documents on my computer without printing them and re-scanning. The signatures look unnatural, and it just doesn't look right. This is quite frustrating and I don't know what else to do.

Other than that, the build quality looks good and if I can get it to work with pressure, so my signatures look natural, then I'm happy. Can you help? Thanks.

Hello Mathew,

Thank you for your review on PID 5551. Since the pressure sensitivity is working when testing within the tablet's settings, it shows us that the drivers were installed correctly. However, pen pressure sensitivity would need to be supported by the software you are looking to use in order to work. This would often be found in drawing programs such as Photoshop. Unfortunately, Microsoft Word does not support pen pressure with third party drawing tablets. As for Adobe Acrobat, I recommend searching for a plug-in that would enable pressure sensitivity as the standard pencil tool will not support it, sorry to say. If unsatisfied with the tablet and it is no longer needed, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a refund as long as we are within the 30 day return period. If you wish to proceed with the RMA, please provide the order number and I can get that started right away. I truly apologize for any inconvenience and I hope this helps!
