    This tablet features a 4000 lines per inch (LPI) drawing resolution, a 200 RPS report rate, and 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. It has six user assignable Express Keys on the left side of the drawing area. The Express Keys can be assigned to input specific keystroke combinations, launch applications, open web pages, send email, or to emulate a specific mouse function (e.g., left-click).

    The tablet comes with driver/software utilities for use with Windows® (XP and later) and Mac® OS X® (10.4.x and later). It uses a USB interface and is physically compatible with Linux, though Linux drivers are not included.

    Note: Starting with v9.0 of the Windows driver (Jul 16, 2014, linked below) the ability to flip the tablet so that the Express Keys are on the right side has been added.

    Pros: I bought this for my boyfriend and he said he had no issues installing it, it worked really good and he's happy as he ever been considering he always wanted a drawing tablet and im happy I got this at a GREAT price indeed. I would recommend this product for sure. thanks monoprice, I love it!!!!

    Cons: no issues at all except my boyfriend said something about the pressure sensitivity but overall it works like a charm

    LOOOOOOOVE IT & THE PRICE. Saw this same product on Walmart for $50 but I am soooooo glad I found this website but I bought it off Walmart.

    Pros: Good price
    Pen has nice weight
    Decent size

    Cons: Pen only works at an angle
    Comes with outdated software

    Biggest problem is that the pen only works when held at between a 20-30 degree angle which makes the tablet nearly unusable for any serious work. Also the on/off button on the pen is a feature I don't really care for.

    Thank you for your review on PID 10593. Just to verify, is the tablet itself functioning properly after installing the provided drivers If not, what OS version do you have? Regarding the pen, it should be working in all angles as long as the pen tip is touching the tablet surface. Can we try replacing the tip with one of the provided spares?     Thank you for responding to my review.

    Te tablet does function properly as long as the pen is angled just right, I'm running Windows 10 and I got the correct drivers from the monoprice website. I already changed the nib once with the same results, my sister has a monoprice replacement pen which I tried and no dice on that either.

    Happy to help! If you have not done so already, one troubleshoot I recommend doing is installing the drivers in compatibility mode for Windows 7. We unfortunately do not have drivers for Windows 10 specifically at this time, however installing the ones we do have in compatibility mode fixes a lot of issues. Before doing this, please unplug the tablet and uninstall all tablet drivers from that computer. Once done, restart the computer. When the computer has booted back up, right-click the setup application file and select Properties. In the new window, go to the Compatibility tab then select Windows 7. After the drivers have installed, please restart one more time then it will be safe to plug in the tablet.

    Should that not work, I would try a different USB port if possible. If the problem continues, please let me know and we can setup an RMA for a replacement tablet as long as we are still the one year warranty. I would just need your order number to proceed. Thank you!

    Frustrations Ahead! Buyer Beware!

    Pros: Cheap
    Nice size

    Pen does not turn on(?)

    I was super excited to get this in. I have friends that swear by graphics tablets. I installed the drivers correctly (before I plugged in the device, Windows isn't allowed to update anything on my computer without my consent). The buttons on the tablet work, the pen does not. I tried aluminum foil like the guy above me did and it worked for about 10-15 seconds. I think it was just coincidence because I had it work for about the same amount of time again without the foil.

    My first thought was that the battery connections were making a solid connection. I used a piece of copper wire to complete the circuit manually, but it did not work.

    Unless Monoprice is able to get me a pen that works I would suggest that you pay $10-$20 more another cheap brand.

    Up until now I have enjoyed every Monoprice item I have purchased. Maybe it's just a case of Quality Control slacking?

    Pen won't work

    Pros: It wasn't damaged during shipping.

    Cons: It might as well have been damaged during shipping.

    I have tried everything suggested and the pen will not connect to the tablet. The tablet connects and I can change and use the express keys as intended, but the pen refuses to do anything. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions and not one works. Uninstalled other tablet drivers, re-install, uninstall, reinstall, change batteries, tried every pen tip it came with, tried to bend battery lead (without breaking it), even tried to put tin foil on either side of the battery for a connection... I think that is all that I have tried within the first 30 minutes of owning the tablet. All that happens is a single green blink once about every 4 or 5 seconds on the tablet itself and the express keys work. No more, no less. I guess the pen does work if I use it instead of my fingers to press the express keys down.

    I truly apologize for the inconvenient experience you have had so far with PID 10593. The LED should only illuminate when the tablet is first plugged into the USB port and when the pen is touching the tablet's surface. When the tablet is not in use, the LED should remain off. If I may ask, have you tried plugging it into a different USB port on that computer? If so, did the LED activity change at all? Also, can we try swapping out the USB cable if you happen to have a spare available? Please let me know along with the order number for this tablet. If the LED is continuously blinking, the tablet is likely defective and I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a replacement. Thank you for your feedback and I hope this helps.

    Pros: Looks nice
    Pen has a nice feel
    Makes a great mouse mat

    Cons: PLaunch doesn't work.

    It's a nice tablet, I've installed all of the recent drivers, even the ones for the wrong tablet (That was an accident) I've rebooted my computer several times and I am able to use the tablet, I'm just not able to change any settings. When I reboot PLaunch is in my system tray along with malware bytes etc, but it won't open to allow me to change settings, i can close it but then when i go to open it from my install location that doesn't work either, I've tried running as administrator and everything, pretty disappointed.

    Truly sorry to hear about the difficulty you are encountering with PID 10593. May I ask what OS you are running? Be sure to verify that all previous drivers are uninstalled before installing the latest. Also can you verify that there aren't any other brand tablet drivers installed?
