Adjustable Height 5 lb. Capacity Speaker Stands (Pair), Black

Many small satellite speakers have ports on the back, which are designed to improve the bass response. For best sound response, it is usually recommended to mount these speakers about 1-2 feet away from the wall, to allow the ports to work properly.

This speaker floor stand set is designed to let you mount your satellite speakers in an ideal location, away from a wall. The stands are height adjustable from about 26.8" to 43.3", allowing you to mount the speakers at your ear height when sitting. They can hold speakers weighing up to 5 lbs each.

The brackets mount onto speakers with a standard 1/4" x 20 mounting screw or via a keyhole mount. The stand tubes are hollow so that the speaker wires can be hidden within.

Great for the money

Pros: easy to set up and adjustable

Cons: Plastic insert may become dislodged and fall down into the tube but it can be easily retrieved and fixed. Directions could be a little more clear.

Great pair of stands for the money. They work perfectly for an old pair of Optimus satellite speakers with the keyhole mount.

Pros: Sturdy
Easy to Set Up

Cons: Too many screws
None of the "universal" screws fit my Vizio Speakers
Screw to Lock Universal Mount in Place Broke

These are certainly fine speaker stands. They were easy to set up, even if they come with a few too many screws, and it's not quite obvious which ones are which. My Main gripe is that the screw that locks the universal mount on top of the stand is very small, and while trying to screw it in, the screw head broke on one of the stands. I didn't quite have the stand lined up quite right, and now I can't adjust it because the screw is broken in the universal mount. It seems pretty stable, but still.

Also - because of the size of the wire connectors on the Vizio speakers, I had to mount them sideways instead of vertically. This doesn't seem to be an issue, just a note with the size of the mount when the cables don't sit flush.

Pros: Would work great on hard floor with thin speaker wire and very small or light speaker.

Cons: Tipsy on carpet. Plastic sleeve tightens where top connects to bottom. Screws do not fit speaker.

I use these for Inifinity Minuette surround speakers. They barely stay upright on carpet. VERY difficult to feed 16g speaker wire through the stand from the base to the speaker. The wire get's caught at a hole on top of the stand. None of the screws fit the Infinity. I had to dig around in my spare screw box to find screws that fit. Trying to stabilize the stand, I over tightened the plastic adjustment sleeve that tightens the top and bottom of the stand and broke the sleeve. The Minuette is not a large speaker. The stands should be able to securely hold this size speaker. Do not recommend.

Pros: yet to install.

Cons: I am unable to install. I got this for the monoprice premium 5.1 speaker. but none of the 3 screws fit the speaker. Not sure this stand is made for monoprice speakers.

Hi Raj,

Thank you for your review on PID 3022! I just wanted to mention that these stands were released before our Premium 5.1 system (PID 10565) and do not include the necessary hardware for those satellite speakers, sorry to say. At this time, our best recommendation would be to obtain the screws from your local hardware store as we would be unable to supply those separately. Or, if truly unsatisfied with the stands, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for a return instead. If you would like to proceed with the return, please let me know and I will get that going right away. My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and I hope this helps.

Pros: - Easy to assemble.
- Weight at bottom makes entire stand fairly sturdy.

Cons: - Difficult to run lower gauge wire through the mount.
- No extra parts provided, so if you lose a screw you are in trouble.

Overall the mounts do what they are supposed to. One of my nuts weren't threaded so it was completely useless. Since only the exact amount of part needed are provided, one of my mounts is completely useless because I don't have a functioning nut for it. Took a point off for the nut issue, and a point for the difficulty of running lower gauge wire (16 gauge) through.
