Tilting Ceiling Bracket for Wall Mounts (Max 125lbs, 32" - 52")

    MONOPRIOCE Wall Mount Logo Locations

Sometimes you need to mount a display where there is no wall or where a wall mount solution would be inconvenient. In those cases you need a Ceiling TV Mount from Monoprice!

This mount is designed to mount to a ceiling and is capable of being rotated 360°. It can hold two displays with a total weight of up to 125 lbs. It can mount displays with 200x200 VESA pattern or a VESA pattern between 320x300 and 600x400, which includes most 32" to 52" TVs*. It supports up to 1215 lbs (including the weight of the bracket itself). The mounted displays can be swiveled ±360° and tilted to +5/-15 degrees. Mounting hardware is included.

Safety Note! If you will be running your cables through the wall or ceiling, they must be rated for in-wall and in-ceiling use in order to conform to fire safety regulations.

    * Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

Used it to mount a 50 inch plasma display down through a drop ceiling. Perfectly fit and made the clearance distance exactly. The construction is sturdy and the since we didn't need the reverse mount we were easily able to take that one off.

PROS: sturdy, long, and easy to mount and assemble

    CONS: none

    TV Braket
Well worth the price. Compared to other units in big box store that were 3 times the price, and nowhere near as good in quality.

PROS: Good solid unit. Well built and great quality.

CONS: Only con might be that it is a bit heavy, so we added a safety chain to the unit, but all in all not a big issue.

    Great Mount For The Price.
Great mount for a GREAT price. I will purchase and use another one regardless if I have to make a longer peice. This will really attract people to your place of business if you decide to go with a mount like this. info@totalhome-av.com

PROS: Really adds a zing for the application you are using it for. We installed this in a restraunt right in the middle of the seating area with both TVs on there. It really sets the place off whe you walk in.

CONS: Monoprice really need to offer a longer extension peice. From top to bottom t is roughly 5'5" extended all the way. I needed it to be 86" from top to bottom. So I wound up having to fabricate my own extension.

    PROS: they worked well

CONS: had to custom make poles to hang from ceiling, not enough length

    Just Ok
I will be sawing off adjuster tube and extension pipe and re-drilling some holes to reduce the tv height from the ceiling

    PROS: Sturdy construction
    Lots of mounting parts

CONS: No option to skip the extension column and use extension less than 36".

I would not recommend this for heaver monitors but for newer lighter monitors this mount is fine.

    PROS: Sturdy

CONS: The locking lever is plastic and too much tension causes it to strip.
My monitor is 72 lbs, which is in the weight range of the mount but it was unable to keep the monitor fro creeping downward.

    Big Screen Ceiling mount
I installed the mount to hold a 55" tv (I know it says limited to 50", but it DID work. The mount is for two tvs, but I removed the extra hardware, no problem. My biggest complaint is that the tilting mechanism is poorly designed....The pins that hold it together are of a smaller diameter than the holes they are inserted in. As a result, with my TV's center of gravity pulling on the mount, the tilt angle was not what I wanted and would flop around by probably ~10 Degrees away from what I wanted. NO AMOUNT OF TIGHTENING HELPED. What did help was to insert a NAIL, into the void on the above pins. A kludge, but it worked. One SHOULD be able to cinch it down to get ZERO movement....As in other comments, I had to drill some extra holes in the backing plates to align with my TV's internal attach holes. Oh well. The $23 dollar shipping fee also seems exorbitant.

    PROS: Strong and useful.

CONS: not a very rigid installation.

Other than it not fitting on three tvs it wasn't a bad deal

CONS: It wasn't compatible with three of the tvs that I tried to use with it.
I had to manufacture a Plate to get it to work.

    Just OK
Not quite what I thought it would be.

    PROS: Seems well built

CONS: The pole setup is a pain. You have to use all 3. No option to use just one (what I needed). I am gonna buy a pole. Also, the painted monoprice on the side. That isn't very professional. Try explaining that to a customer.
