Additionally, it can be extended from a minimum distance to the wall of 5.0" to a maximum of 30.0". It also features cable management clips to help keep your installation clean and professional looking.

Strongest Monoprice extending mount so far
It takes some effort to pull a heavy TV in and out with this mount, as with the other Monoprice mounts that I have used. A Chief brand mount of similar design is much smoother and easier to extend/retract, however, it MSRPs for about 10 times the price of Monoprice mounts and most of my customers have opted to save the money and have chosen the Monoprice mount. Not one has regretted it. The Monoprice mount swivles from side to side very easily and smoothly. It is only pulling the TV out from the wall and pushing it back in that takes some effort.

PROS: This dual arm mount is the strongest extending mount they currently sell. I wanted this level of strength for an older 60" plasma that weighed about 125. I have installed a bunch of their "dual aluminum armed" extending mounts on 50" plasmas (about 100) and they are plenty strong enough for that, but I wanted something stronger and with less flex for the heavier 60" TV, and that is exactly what I got.

CONS: Be prepared to do some cutting of sheet metal with a hack saw. The part of the mount that screws directly to the TV will likely need to be cut, but it was quickly done by hand with a hack saw. The vertical arms of the bracket were too long for my TV and were hitting a bulge in the back of the TV. All it took was a straight cut through the sheet metal "arms" to trim them to size. No big deal.

Great older style mount, but be prepared to do some work.
OK, This mount is awesome for what it does. I have a new Samsung 75 inch UHD. By no means do I want to ruin my investment. The main bracket is 16 inches wide total. I had one stud only where I needed it, so I bought some 3/4" plywood and lag bolts. Prepared the wood, attached with 6 bolts on the outside studs. Drilled pilot holes too. The mount bracket was attached with lag bolts into the center stud, and into the plywood as well. Buy stronger washers and lock washers for M6 bolts. Also buy longer bolts. I ended up using 30mm on the top half, and 35mm or 40 on the bottom. Spacers come in the hardware, but can also use washers.

Now for the bracket mounting. My TV is 400x400. The website says 400x400. This is not even close. However, it can be fixed easily with the right tools. Attach the brackets, and mark out where bolts will have to go. Then you have to drill and tap the holes for a 1/4 bolt. So you will need the proper drill bit, and tap tools... or someone to help.

Once that was all done, the TV sat on the mount great. I replaced the tilt washers as they where soft metal, and some other washers too.

    All in all, highly recommended

    PROS: Sturdy

    Does as advertised

CONS: This is not even close to being VESA 400x400!

Not an all in one package. May need to modify and do work arounds.

    Too many modifications
A nice, sturdy mount, but in order to make it work with our 70" Sharp Aquos LC-70LE632U we had to cut several inches off the bottom of the brackets and make a trip to the hardware store for screws that would fit. This added a considerable amount of time on to the otherwise easy installation, costing us more money since we had a handyman install it. If we were doing it ourselves, we would have had to have figured out some way to saw through the thick steel brackets. It could be that Sharp just adds a strange lip where other manufacturers don't, but several other reviewers mentioned having to drill extra holes, too.

Also, the diagram shows the plate attaching to the brackets in one direction, but that part arrives preassembled with the plate facing the opposite direction. It will not fit in the direction shown in the pictures, as there are no pre-drilled holes for it to attach to. This caused some confusion as well, and made me question the accuracy of the diagrams, which is important, since that's all you have to go by (no written directions).

CONS: Should have included a wider variety of screws. Needs better directions.

If you won the above named TV like I and others here do, please pay attention, save yourself trouble, and get M6 screws! You'll need them. You actually can get this installed without having to cut anything off. It looked like we'd have to do some cutting as others mentioned, because of the lip at the back bottom of this tv that protrudes. However, we used the included spacers, and nothing sticks out or is visible above or below the TV.

It's too bad the M6 screws weren't included. Since I'm rural, the added time and gas to go buy these cheap screws ultimately added $50+ to costs. Aside from that amount of time, it took my partner, a licensed contractor who does a lot of complicated work and builds turnkey houses, at least a couple hours. The longest amount of that time was spent trying to figure out the poor instruction manual. As he showed me in at least one section, the manual stated certain types of screws, then had a picture showing something totally different. It's clear this was written and then "translated" into an attempt at English. It's clear no native English speaker read the manual, tried to follow them, and made corrections before the manual shipped with this product.

Now that the hard part is over, and it is up and working, it's quite a nice setup and I would recommend this product. Having the arms, being able to rotate it and move it is really great, and it seems VERY sturdy. Monoprice shipping was very fast and I'd order here again.

PROS: Sturdy, works great once you figure it out.

CONS: Awful manual that contradicts itself.

    Great value, but poor qc
I am very disappointed with the QC of monoprice, i've been an avid monoprice customer for years, and only lately have i received problematic items. Item was received missing the tv hooks, Monoprice did a rma exchange. The 2nd one i just received , had a issue so that when it was mounted and leveled with the wall, it required major correction and disassembly of the mount to correct. The wall bracket was mounted leveled, but when i leveled the bracket that the tv hooks onto, i discovered that it was very off level, and spent a extra 1.5 hrs diagnosing and fixing the problem.

Please qc your products more before shipping. Thank you. Item is a good value except the fact that it took me hours to get it working.

PROS: Excellent Value, Sturdy Mount, Currently holds my Sharp 80LE844U 80" Full Array LED 3D TV.

CONS: Poor QC, Some sag with the arm being extended, tv is 121 LBS.

    Missing Bolts
Solid mount but it was a pain to find the bolts that should have been included. Also if your TV is 60" or smaller you'll see the bracket on the back, so I'd go with a smaller mount.

PROS: Mount itself is solid and strong. Swivels very well into the corner I wanted to place it into (I was worried it wouldn't)

CONS: It doesn't come with the right set of bolts to work with the spacers it includes. I had to go out and purchase 40mm M8 bolts, and hopefully I got the wrong ones. If your TV isn't perfectly flat on the back it will need spacers and longer bolts.

Also the bracket itself is visible a little at the top and bottom which is annoying. The most says it works for TVs as small as 52"'or something but if I can see the bracket on my 60" then it would be a lot worse going any smaller. At least I know I can go up to 72" if I ever want to.

People owning 2013 Panasonic vt60 series stay away!!!

The bracket pre-drilled holes does not align correctly with the mounting holes on the display. I've read reviews on here of ppl drilling their own holes, which I did, but ran into second problem. Now the pre-drilled holes to scree TV to me it balance is way off (not design for this type of display), so now my TV is either heavy on left or right, depending on how the TV slide left or right.

Explained to monoprice my situation and they were nice enough to refund me (kudos to monoprice) after I fabricated the bracket. But, this box is heavy (50lbs) for shipping which will cost me a good amount.

To much trouble to take it down and shipping will cost me most that refund. Now I don't know what to do.

    PROS: Heavy duty, sturdy

CONS: Doesn't fit my Panasonic 60vt60

Works Great for Samsung not Panasonic
Highly recommend. This thing holds my 65" plasma up no problem even when I'm moving it around quickly. Samsung E550 worked perfect, but as stated, the Panasonic ST50 needed so adjustment/drilling work. I didn't drill into the TV, just the bracket itself.

    PROS: SOLID.
    Easy to install.

CONS: Does not fit Panasonic 65" ST50 so I had to screw holes into the brackets that mount flush onto the TV.

    Excellent Mount for extreme weight!
This mount was more than I needed for a 55" TV. Mounting was easy. The mount is very sturdy. The tv is about 12 inches away from the wall. This works for my living room but may stick out too far and disappoint other people.

    PROS: Sturdy

Is this mount compatible with Samsung 65" curved TV ?
    Kurnesh A on Nov 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: To determine compatibility with a TV mount to your TV, please determine the VESA mounting pattern on the back of your TV. It is the 4 screw hole square formation on the back and it is usually listed on the TV specs or you can find out by measuring it yourself(measured in millimeters). Our TV mounts range from 50x50mm to 1000x700 and up so please check the TV mount specs for compatibility as well. I hope this helps, thank you!
