Low Profile 22 lb. Capacity Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair), Black

Mount your satellite speakers to the wall using this Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket set from Monoprice!

This set comes with two wall mount brackets for speakers weighing up to 22 lbs each. Each bracket is a two-piece unit, with an ABS bracket that mounts onto the wall and another ABS bracket to hold the speaker. The two brackets are then attached with a simple slide/lock mechanism, which ensures that they will not fall.

The speaker brackets feature a ball jointed 1/4"x20 threaded screw. A keyhole to 1/4"x20 adapter is included for use with speakers that lack a native 1/4"x20 mounting point. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Pros: 1/5 the cost of Definitive Technologies miunts, with same functionality. Easy to install.

Cons: Hardware that mounts base to wall is a little lacking, but if you are mounting them yourself, you should be able to source longer wood screws, or heavier duty hardware for solid mounting. A little limited on pivot range

I have a Definitive Technologies 5.1 setup, and wanted to wall-mount my 4 satellite speakers near the ceiling. The name brand mounts from the DT website were $40 or $50 a pair, while these were $10 (and I got them on sale) a pair. The mounting style was easy to install, I just used slightly different fasteners (longer wood screws to go into a stud) start to finish, including moving furniture, and the ladder 3 times, and going back and forth to the garage to pick the righ screws, was about an hour for 4 speakers.

Some people complained in their reviews about the limited range of motion on the pivot, and they're right, I think it only pivots to about 45* or slightly less. It's reall a non-issue for me, and for a bracket that is $5/each, it gets the job done better than I expected! As for weigh capacity, 50 pounds is probably accurate or low for the actual unit. It's rigid, short wall plastic, like a Lego... It can handle the weight.... It's the mounting hardware and location that will limit the weight capacity. Mount it on a stud with proper hardware if you're concerned about capacity.

Pros: Very easy to use, very easy to install. The quality is top notch..

Cons: Screw is a bit long

I was amazed on how fast and easy all 8 were to put up. I had all the speakers up, on the wall and mounted with in 40 min. I have a 9.2 surround so 8 are on the wall. Great product.

Pros: Plenty of hardware to match most any speaker configuration, well constructed, easy to assemble and...looks great. Oh yes, the price is great. Other similar mounts from other sources are significantly more expensive.

Cons: None

Buy these mounts, you will be extreemly pleased with the results. Be prepaired for the compliments.

Pros: Cheap, very nice that base mounts separately from speaker

Cons: no where near the weight capacity, limited range of angles

They don't come anywhere near being strong enough to support my speakers. I didn'y weight them, but they certainly aren't 50 pounds each. Fortunately I bought 2 sets to mount the front a rear speakers. Mounting double brackets for each front speaker, top and bottom they handle the wieght easily and I can pivot side to side. A little bit. Had to unmount and move the brakets to the sides of the speakers for my setup., and even then I got limited angling in toward the middle viewing area. The Keyhole mount was too weal to even try, so I had to remove the keyhole brackets from the speakers and screw in the provided bigger plastic mounts.

My brackets did not line up with studs on either side, but seem to be holding well in the drywall. The plastic inserts spin easily so you must use very light pressure when screwing in the screws to get the barbs on the plastic inserts to grab properly.
