Smart Adjustable Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket for LCD LED Plasma w/ Vertical Adjustment (44~77 lbs, 37~55 inch)

Traditionally, tilting wall mounts allowed adjustments to the screen position in only the one dimension. This wall mount adds the ability to adjust the screen vertically, as well as adjusting the tilt angle.

This wall mount features an adjustable counterbalance system, which allows you to adjust the height of your display with just a single finger. The counterbalance system is designed to function with displays weighing 44-77 lbs (20-35 kg). When properly set up the display can be adjusted ± 5.1" vertically for a total vertical motion range of 10.2".

The mount can accommodate displays with a minimum 200x200 VESA size and a maximum 600x400 size. The displays that fit these parameters are typically in the 37~55" range. The display mounts within 2.1" of the wall, which gives sufficient room for rear panel connections.

Worth Getting Sturdy but not perfect

Pros: Sturdy, slides left and right and tilts forward.

Cons: Supposed function of sliding up and down does not work. For whatever reason it does not work and is stuck. The pneumatic preload/support seems to be under tremendous load and the adjustment screw does not seem to do much at all.

I bought it because I thought I could slide my TV up and down as promised. But that function does not work. Was not aware I could slide the TV left to right, but I can.. so really cool. Tilt function works as well. It was easy to use, was able to put up 51" screen all by myself, but wish someone was there to help me. Sparse instructions/directions, I may return for the same item if I can get over the idea of having to take down the screen and mounting to start all over.

Pros: Great Idea for a design.

Cons: Works as a standard mount. Pretty hard to make the screen shift up or down due to the tension.

Purchased to put 4 55 inch leds in a row for digital signage. Works as a standard mount. We mounted 4 screens on the upper end of the size range. I don't see this ever working with anything less than a 42inch and it would have to be a heavy 42 inch plasma from a few years back. This is coming from an AV installer of 14 years. I have tried all the mounts MP has to offer and this is one that I will not use again. Good Idea as far as the design.

Pros: Well made
Very affordable
Easy installation

Cons: None for me.

I was skeptical of the quality based on the low price. When I opened the box and felt the solidness of this bracket, I was impressed. I mounted a 55-inch, 50-lb LED TV by myself, and it was a breeze.

Smart Adjustable Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket

Pros: Solid Mount
Vertical Adjustability

Cons: Requires two studs equidistant from center of mounting location

Loved the idea of this mount. I just bought a new house with a corner fireplace perfect for mounting a TV on the wall above. I found that the studs behind the wall were not in the right place so that I could secure this mount to the wall. I ended up cutting out the drywall and installing a 3/4 " piece of plywood across three studs so that I could mount the TV centered over the fireplace.

The mount provides the ability to moved the TV up and down. Good idea, but the adjustment is provided by a tension spring which is adjustment for the weight of the TV. I found the adjustment difficult with the included hex wrench (lots of turns to change the tension). Once adjusted, the TV becomes "balanced" and can be moved vertically to position it on the wall, but it is not fixed in that position. I found the system to be an overkill.
