Bluetooth® Wireless Stereo Headset - Black

Why put up with an uncomfortable ear-bud style bluetooth headset? Get stereo sound and ultimate comfort from this A2DP Bluetooth® Headset from Monoprice!

This bluetooth headset features high-quality stereo sound for use as an A2DP audio headset. The softly padded earpieces are held in place with a "behind the neck" style band, which is very flexible, yet holds in place without pinching your head or ears. A microphone hole in the back of the right earpiece picks up your voice, allowing you to use this as a hands-free device, as well as a stereo headset, making it perfect for video gaming with PCs or consoles, such as the PlayStation 3 or for making phone calls.

The headset conforms to the Bluetooth 2.1 standard, which allows pairing without the use of passkeys or other codes. The power on/off button is on the bottom of the right earpiece, while the volume + and - buttons are on the top edge. The left earpiece features music player controls: a play/stop button on the bottom of the earpiece and forward/backward buttons on the top edge.

The headeset holds a generous charge, allowing 300 hours of standby time and up to 15 hours of "talk" time. The battery can be fully recharged in about 3 hours. The bluetooth range is rated at 10 meters (about 30 feet), but it can often maintain a quality connection to as much as twice that distance, through several walls. A 37" charging cable, with a proprietary connector on the headset and a USB A male connector on the other end, is included, allowing the battery to be charged from any USB power source.

This headset complies with RoHS standards.

Best Bluetooth headset I've ever owned
I have owned a ton a Bluetooth headsets and by far this is the most comfortable. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm outside every day working and I would miss calls with other headsets because their volume was loud enough for the environment I was in, but I haven't missed a call yet. The bass isn't overpowering and sound doesn't distort even at hi volumes. The distance that you can be away from your sound sorce(cell phone or tablet) is great.

    PROS: Battery life is amazing
    Very comfortable
    Very loud
    Not to bulky

CONS: Every once and a while the neckband gets pushed up by the collar on my heavy jacket. It doesn't bother me because I knew this would possibly happen.

    CONS: None so far

    OMG I love these!
The battery life is amazing. I did follow the instructions and completely charged them, then completely drained them (twice) before starting to use them for workouts. Since that 3rd recharge, I still haven't run out of battery. It's amazing how long I've used them without a recharge. Also, the buttons for power, pause, skip forward/backward, and volume work great with the iPhone. I love not having any cords while running, biking, or even just sitting at my cubicle at work listening to music. Also, my husband says the call clarity is great. Sounds great to me too. I was a little hesitant about wearing these for running b/c of the weight on my ears and also the sweatiness and warmth from having a covered ear (rather than just an ear bud), but they are very comfortable and light and I don't really even notice the additional warmth until after the run when I take them off. So totally no big deal. In fact, when I run with earbuds, they're constantly working loose, and I have to squeeze them back in. These headphones solve that as well. The volume range is very good as well. If you set your phone to mid-volume, then you can use the headset to increase or decrease from there. If it's noisy outside or on a plane, just increase your phone volume to max, and you have plenty of range still on the headset. I'm telling you, these things are great! I'm ordering another set as a gift.

PROS: Read my full review below, but here are the highlights:
    Battery life!!!
    Ease of use
    iPhone 4S compatible
    Volume range
    No cords!!!

CONS: Only 2 cons that I can think of. (1) I think they are just a bit fatter than competitor styles, and my husband says I look like Diaz's retarded brother in "Something About Mary". That makes me laugh, b/c in today's world of earbuds, over-the-ear headphones do look a little stupid. So I think he would say that even with the slimmer models... That's just my loving/jeering husband for you. (2) I kinda wish there was one or two extra buttons that we could program. In particular, I want a "go back 30 seconds" button that you have on the iPhone when you're listening to audiobooks. Oh well. That's just pie-in-the-sky, and I still rate them a 10!

For the money, these are great! I paired them with my HTC EVO LTE, and the only issue was that I had to go into the settings to change the headset override settings in my music app, then all the contrios worked, and Beats Audio actually works to improve the bass response. My wife now wants a pair as well.

    PROS: Lightweight
    Surprisingly good sound
    Long range
    Great battery life

CONS: A little snug ( I have a large head)

Best BT headphones you'll get at this price.

PROS: Loudest set of wireless headphones I've ever heard
    Pretty good battery life
Works Just fine with windows 7 x64, Android Gingerbread and ICS
USB cable IS a standard cable (Mini-B 8pin Type)
Volume control controls the headphone amp volume not the device volume (doubling the number of volume possibilities)

CONS: Grey plastic piece over the ear has rough edges. Doesnt seem to fit together well right there.

Bluetooth didn't work with my Nexus 5 phone

    PROS: Price

CONS: Bluetooth 2.1 didn't work with my Nexus 5 phone.
No adjustments. Feels like they will fall off of my head.
