    All I had hoped for

Pros: Great price (particularly if you go with the green)
    Good sound
    Reasonably comfortable
    Microphone picks up well

Cons: Play/Pause can be a bit dodgy
Not perfect for hour upon hour of use

I like to keep headphones/headsets scattered around so that one is nearby if I need it. I keep a set in my car, a set at home, and a set at the office (I've been using the ones at my office quite regularly). The Play/Pause control seems to work most of the time, the adjustable pads for the headphones are very convenient and easy to use, and the sound is good. I have not had any issues with the cables

    Sound good, crap cable

    Pros: -Sound

Cons: -Cable permanently kinks at the folds from the packaging and provides a rather frustrating experience
-Cable quality itself is cheap and rubber cracks easilu within a handful of months (but the price allows one to easily buy several pairs to replace)

The sound of these ear buds is really quite impressive for the cost. Great range and sufficient bass as others have noted. The mic works fine, as do the in-line controls on my Nexus 6P on Android 6.0.1.

Also as perhaps others have noted the lifespan of these are only a few months and that's purely because of the cable quality of the cable. The way that the buds are packaged causes a permanent kink at the plug end which puts stress on just one side of the part that allows the cable to move freely, which then causes the rubber to wear away quite rapidly.

Also there are other kinks along the length of the wire which are impossible to get out, so the cord never sits too flat against your body and ALWAYS gets caught on things like drawer knobs or... anything. This is absolutely the must frustrating thing.

Actually, I've owned several pairs of Monoprice ear buds and this gripe is consistent across all models really.

I'm fine with buying a few pairs a year because of the cable wearing more rapidly than other ear buds that cost more and use better materials (hell, at $5/ea that surely isn't an issue), but I've just about had it with the permanent cable kinks. I even tried straightening it by hanging them from a clothes hanger and hanging some small weight on the other end, but the kinks WILL NOT come out!

In short, I recommend for the sound quality, but the build quality is, simply put, crap.

Solid product, especially for the price. I order about 4 of these at a time and they last a while with daily use. Microphone works well too.

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Cheap

I have been thru a few pairs of these. The current pair I have has a bad microphone. But the headphones themselves still sound fine so I've kept on using them. Unfortunately, I made a video recording using my iPhone of my child at school and had the headphones plugged in. Not I have a useless video with no sound. :-(

    Pros: sound
    shape and fit

So far, I love these earbuds! The biggest plus for me, a guy with weird ears, is that the bud is shaped small enough so as to not make anything sore. Some designs try too hard, but this one is perfect so far. The only thing they don't have is a 90-degree jack, but this isn't a huge problem. All connections are properly graded and ridged for bending.
the sound is decent, I would say its more of an even balance across the soundboard. Not too much bass. A good overall sound.
