Form Fitting Hi-Fi Gaming Noise Isolating Earphones

Hear your games with crystal clarity when you use these Form Fitting Hi-Fi Gaming Noise Isolating Earphones from Monoprice!

These earphones excelled in the listening tests, providing excellent low-end punch and clear sustains, so explosions and the distant rumble of artillery sound just like you are there. They generate good punch in the mid and high frequency ranges and are crystal clear at all frequencies. They are well-suited not only for gaming but also for listening to all kinds of music, from classical to heavy metal, and everything in between.

Three different sized ear buds ensure that these 'phones will always have the right fit.

Note: For best results these earphones should be broken in by playing pink noise through them for about 24 hours. The difference in sound quality before and after the pink noise break-in period can be quite dramatic.

    Great
These work wonderfully. I am astonished by how much sound they block out and how little i have to turn up my laptop or ipod to hear them. I'm quite pleased.

    PROS: Almost everything

CONS: I would prefer the wire to angle down as it came away from the ear. Petty issue.

Fantastic sounds for fantastic price. I wouldn't mind throwing a couple bucks for a bit more feature. Like a built in mic with a switch.

PROS: -Easy fit in ears and sits comfortably

    -Decent sounds

    -High build quality

    -Price is fantastic

CONS: This thing really needs a built in mic considering the fact that a lot of people playing online games need to communicate.

    Good Quality
I needed something that would not fall out of my ear when I run. These do the trick. I've had 2 different pairs of wireless bluetooth sports headphones, and neither stay in my ear. I'm back to wired. Sound is really good also.

    Great value
I can't say that these are objectively great in-ear headphones, I don't buy headphones for more than $25 so I'm not comparing them to Sennheisers or Bose. But in the sub-$25 range, they are very good headphones. Sound quality is comparable to anything you would buy at Wal-mart or Target for $20, such as Sony MDR-EX35 or JVC Marshmallow headphones, and you won't find those for $12 like these.

PROS: Good flat midrange, small size, long cable

    CONS: None

PROS: I bought these for my son and he is very pleased with the quality of the product and the comfort of the earphones, and I am very happy with the price!

    Meh
Decent sound, but with no shirt clip I get a thump thump sound when jogging due to the weight of the headphone wire itself.

Surprisingly Durable Feel and Robust Sound
    Caveat:

I actually broke these headphones in using a continuous pink noise signal at 1000 Hz, and I broke them in for 30 hours, rather than the recommended 24 hours. (No special reason, just forgot to unplug. 24 hours is plenty of time)

    Sound:

The 300 to 800 Hz range is highly accentuated, giving an overall warm tone to music. However, higher ranges, 850+ are still clear and crisp. Low tones 80 to 300 Hz create a solid backbone, but are not overtly overpowering. However, these are not "Flat" headphones. For the professional audio technician, I would recommend the over-the-ear style DJ headphones.

    Construction:

Metal bushings and a soft outer coating for the wires, give these headphones a higher-quality feel. I have not reviewed the internals, but I would imagine from the sound that they are decent. My only concern is that the bushing at the Y-Split will eventually case a wire break given daily use and abuse. However, I imagine that with proper care this won't be an issue.

    Overall First-Impression:

Quality feel and somewhat durable with a rich and robust sound. As with most Monoprice products, you simply can't beat the price.

PROS: Solid metal construction and an incredibly deep-robust sound.

CONS: Metal bushing at the Y-cable split to ear phones and soft outer casing will eventually cause cable breaks if not properly maintained.
