This is an excellent fan, I use it to cool off my Sonicview receiver, the price is unbelievably low and the quality of the fan is high

Pros: Very quiet. Run about 700 rpm.

Cons: Cable is too short for some motherboards / case setups

Pretty happy with this fan. Perfect for things that need a small amount of airflow at all times.

Pros: Cheap, correct fit, various connection fittings included, moves an average amount of air

Cons: Noise, possibly longevity? TBD

I ordered one for a spot on my computer case that did not come with a fan to add more airflow through the top of the case. I have a fan speed controller setup for 5 of my fans and I hooked this one up on that controller. When I started my computer after the install I noticed a slight scratching sound that would repeat. I went through each fan and shut them off and found it to be this one I just installed. I checked to make sure I didn't over tighten the screws or flex the fan blades and restarted the computer. Still the same issue. My hope is it lasts a year or two and then I can get a ball bearing or higher quality sleeve fan. You get what you pay for right?
