Hook & Loop Fastening Cable Ties, 9-inch, 100pcs/pack, Black
Organize your wires and cables with reusable Hook & Loop Cable Ties from Monoprice!
These cable ties are made of a self-attaching hook and loop material, popularized by the NASA space program. These ties measure 9" in length and include an eye hole in the tail, allowing the tie to be attached to a cable or hung from a hook.
The pack includes 100 pieces.
PROS: Reusable. Easy to remove for maintenance. Perform exactly as expected. Great price!
CONS: There are no cons for these straps.
PROS: Strong, Durable
CONS: I hope can find 10 inch item.
PROS: You can't even come close to this price anywhere for the amount that you get.
If you need a super long tie, like for a 100' extension cord, you can team up two of these by running the end of one through the slot in the other, and pulling through a couple inches, and then velcro them together.
The 6" ones are the right size for AC adapters, skinny cables, and short cables. You can always cut these ones shorter with some scissors if you only need a couple shorties.
PROS: Sanity rummaging through a big bin of cables. Couldn't be cheaper. Helps identify your cables when they get mixed up with other people's.
CONS: No cons with these.
PROS: The cable wraps are rugged enough for my uses
These are a great product, they give you a great way to secure cables, or organize them. Great for securing coiled cable being stored. 10x better than zip ties, twist ties, or any other method. GREAT if you are using them deep inside your stereo rack, and don't care how they look. If you have industrial carpet, you can reverse the velcro, and place the firm side out, and you have a great way to stick cables to the carpet and keep them in place.
However, I'm trying to use these in MONOPRICE an *office setting*... and take MONOPRICE them to tradeshows to organize wires. The logo is so big and obnoxious on these products, that for the tradeshows, I ended up taking a sharpie marker to try and blank out the logo. Others I had to attach backwards so the prickly side of the velcro was facing out.
If you guys really have to brand these things, consider using some kind of heat stamp to melt the logo in, or, use BLACK ink, so the logo is clearly visible if you're holding it, but not from across the room. Aside from that, it's a great product, and a good price.
PROS: Holds cables well, great for organizing cables, can flip over to put the firm side of velcro out to secure to industrial carpet.
CONS: MONOPRICE logo in bright MONOPRICE white, on a black MONOPRICE surface. Makes very hard to MONOPRICE use these for anything business related.
PROS: Inexpensive, well built
CONS: Plastic in strap material is thick and velcro hooks a bit rough. (large hooks, not very dense in their frequency)
