Cat6 Inline Coupler Type Keystone Jack - Black

Easy to use coupler style keystones allow you to use RJ45 terminated cables in the front and the back eliminating the need to splice wires while standing behind a rack. You can use pre-terminated fix length cables as well, eliminating the need for crimping. Fits all standard keystone wall plates and panels.

Not worth the trouble

Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about the issues experienced with PID 7297. I just wanted to note that we cover this keystone with a one year warranty and have a 30 day period for refunds. Also, obtaining the replacements or refund in this case would be of no additional cost to you. If you would like, I can check if we are able to setup either of those options. If you wish to proceed, please provide the order number along with the quantity of defective coupler keystones received and I can look into that right away. My apologies for any inconvenience and I hope this helps!

Pros: Easy to use, snaps in place tightly.

Cons: No shielded options from Monoprice.

Great couplers, snap in easy, stay firmly in place. I would like it if Monoprice had a shielded option for the exact same model type, but they don't.

2 of 3 were good after a year

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Cheap.

Of the three I ordered a year ago, one failed. It would only connect at 100M (not gigbit). What a pain troubleshooting and isolating cables and switches when it was just this little thing.

Total Garbage

Pros: Worked ok for a few months.

Cons: Started having all sorts of connection issues randomly on 2 of the 4 I have installed.

After connection issues out of the blue I'm ripping out this MonoPrice garbage and installing another brand.
Such a seemingly simple part but truly a piece of junk product this time from MonoPrice.

Avoid these couplers at all cost.
Not worth the hassle to save a couple bucks.

Hello Buck,

Thank you for your review and my apologies for the issues you have experienced with PID 7297. A shame these didn't work out too well for your needs.. I will be sure to pass this info along to our product team so we can further look into the matter. Now if you'd like, I can help setup an RMA for a replacement. If you would like me to proceed with the RMA, all I would need is the order # these keystones are under. Sorry again for the trouble and hope this helps!
