Wall Plate for Keystone, 6 Hole - Ivory

Wall plate for use in conjunction with gang box and keystones. Use appropriate keystones to create a nicely finished, professionally installed look for Ethernet networks or Home Theater interconnects. Eliminate that cluster of wires and hide them behind a wall.

Works great with RJ45

Pros: Cheap, yet sturdy.

Cons: None

Was able to hook up 6 RJ45 Cat 6 keystones with this plate. Just make the punchdown in the keystone, but do not put the top white protectors pieces on. Then make sure you pay attention to which way is top (its marked "UP" on the back of the plate) and pop them all in. Used them in my entertainment area, so have plenty of connections available now.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

No problems installing, color matched the corresponding keystone jacks that were purchased.

Good product, but limited use

Pros: Price, quality

Cons: Limited usability

The holes are too close together both horizontally and vertically for some keystones. I was able to get everything I wanted in, but it was like putting a puzzle together. Next time I'd go two gangs with 4 hole plates, bigger, but overall easier.

Pros: Price

Cons: Certain keystones will not go together side by side as the jacks are too close.

It took some planning to get this working as certain jacks did not have room to exist beside each other. If you did not care about having one vs two plates, I'd go with two 4 hole plates as opposed to this item if I was doing it again. The space is just too cramped. Specifically I was using Toslink and Cat5 connectors and having trouble.
