    I'm impressed

    Pros: Inexpensive, quickly terminate

Cons: The few patch cables I've used so far are extra snug in the jack, could cause damage if plugged a lot. The wire retainers easily fall out, I recommend using the supplied cable tie to secure the fastener.

First let me say that I use a high quality cat6 jack on a daily basis (at work), some may say the best quickport jack on the market @ $6 ea. When I purchased these (5384) from monoprice for my new home, I was skeptical. The jacks I use at work have a different color pattern so it took a few minutes to adjust. I am impressed, these jacks punch quickly and look nice in the monoprice faceplates. I'm using 6727, 6731, 6733, 6829 & 7088 and the fitment is perfect on all.

I do not have any switching components installed yet but I expect these jacks to work just fine. If any of the jacks turn out to be defective I will update my review.

    Pros: Inexpensive
    Easy to work with

Work great without any lost speed. Installed for only a week, but I'm expecting them to last quite awhile. Cheaper than retail and the quality is the same. I did need a punch tool to complete the job, but already had one. When I work on the project again, I know what I'm buying!

    Worked for me

    Pros: Low cost vs alternatives
    Worked

These worked well for me with both CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables (24 and 23 AWG wires). I've never made ethernet cables before and put on almost 50 of these without a single defect or improperly made connection. I used the monoprice punchdown tool. Also, I did not have a problem fitting them side by side in 24 port keystone jack panel (part 7260). I was concerned they wouldn't fit due to some other reviews, but they seem fine (note: I didn't test them in a side by side configuration on a wall plate).
