    Modular Insert
All in all I gave this product a 10 because I did not have a single miswire using any of these ends and they all crimped down perfectly. But I will not be using them again and will be sticking to standard "feed through" RJ45 connectors.

    PROS: Easy to crimp

CONS: Initial insert would be tough to handle if you were a rookie, getting the alignment right takes patience. Also the plastic alignment would generally need a final "push" inside the modular plug with a flat head screwdriver, which can take up alot of extra time on a large scale job.

    Excellent product
excellent product.... i would order more if i didnt over order the first time :)
    really enjoy the monoprice experience

PROS: Even though i have never dealt with cat6 before it was quite easy..
the individual dividers for each of the wires was not that bad.

i have used cat6 from a different supplier (as i purchased 4 connectors 2 days just before my shipment arrived, from a local store, horrible...

interesting design, work great... so far
Plugs seem to hold secure and rather simple to use, concerned with the strength of the clips holding the cable.

    PROS: -Solid plastic body
    -easy insert for wires
-connections seem secure & test good
    -two piece plug

    CONS: -inserts are small
-connection week if insert does not go all the way in
-clip holding cable inside the plug is replaced by two "teeth"
    - two piece plug

These are very cheap and I guess a little cheaply made. I see that some people are saying in these reviews about them not working but if you have patience and don't rush it they will work perfectly. I have made two ends so far using the 568-B standard wiring and if you follow the directions exactly these will work quite well.

PROS: Cheapest I could find anywhere.

CONS: Build quality could be a little better.

    Cat6 Plug Solid W/Insert 50U 100pcs/Bag
These cat6 plugs come with inserts that you push the cables through. This allows you to cut the wires short with wire cutters so the cable casing gets crimped inside the cat6 plug. The reason this is important is because that way you are less likely to have the cables falling out or wires dangling out of the cat6 plugs.

It doesn't matter what rj-45 plug you use if you do not crimp the cable casing in the rj-45 plug then you may have issue later on. This cat6 plug with insert makes this easy.

I really like using these cat6 plugs with inserts.

    Step 1:

    Push wires through the insert.

    Step 2:

    Cut excess wires.

    Step 3:

Push cable with insert in to the cat6 plug.

    Step 4:

Crimp the cat6 plug. Making sure the cable casing is inside of the cat6 plug.

    PROS: Easy to use

    Faster assembly due to inserts

    Functions properly

Works Fine, But You Need To Know The Tricks
First one took me over a half hour and didn't work. Second one took 20 minutes, worked, but was sloppy. Then I learned the tricks and from then on they took less than 5 minutes, all worked and were neat.
Tools: Have a small pair of needle nose pliers, a small pair of wire cutters, and either an inexpensive loupe or a magnifying glass. Don't even think about crimping with anything other than a crimping tool made for ethernet wiring.
    Steps:
    1. Strip the outside jacket but leave at least 1 1/4" or 1 1/2", not the 1" the instructions say.
    2. Untwist the wire pairs, cut off the spleen or paper insert, and rotate the cable in your hand so that the wires are in about the same order as they will need to be inserted. This is important.
    3. Note that the third picture in the instructions is WRONG - the lip is at the BOTTOM for the wire numbers to be as pictured. Holding the cable pointed forward, the lip of the connector will be pointing upward and closest to your body.
    4. Put the first wire longwise (parallel) in the needle nose pliers and press softly multiple times all the way around so the wire will be straight and smooth. Bend it back toward your body from where it comes out of the jacket, and aim the other end to the lower left corner of the connector. You will find that you hit it and it goes right in without even looking inside - pull it through as far as you easily can - as long as a good amount is sticking out you will be fine. Do the same thing with the second wire, aiming for the upper left corner but sliding along the first wire. You will again find that it is easy to make a good shot. Now you see how it is easy as long as the wires are in roughly the same order as they will be inserted and you have enough length to maneuver easily.
    5. After 3 or 4 of the wires have been inserted, check with the magnifier that you haven't skipped any holes (as long as you aim where you want to be and slide along next to the previous wire, you will virtually never miss.
    6. After all wires are inserted, final check again with the magnifier.
    7. Grasp the connector tightly with your hand and with your needle nose pliers grab all of the wires sticking out of the connector at the same time and pull. You can easily pull any individual wire that is not sticking out as far as the others. Try to get the connector as far down close to the jacket as you can, but don't be crazy about it - if you get within 1/4" or so that will be fine.
    8. Now that you have all the wires sticking out of the connector as far as you could pull them, and all are about the same length, take your wire cutters and cut them all at once, flush with the end of the connector farthest from your body.
    9. Rotate the jacket 180 degrees, slip on the shell, crimp it, and you're done. The shell is extra long, so even though the connector was probably 1/4" or so from the jacket, it will still be fine.
    10. Smile and be happy - this was really easy and you now have a new skill.

PROS: Works exactly as it should, and is really easy once you learn the tricks.
    Excellent price.

CONS: Online instructions have good pictures, but one is not quite right and the the actual instructions need a little help.

    Good plugs
Doing my first one EVER took me about 10 minutes to figure out and sort the wires appropriately (mainly due to me not understanding the online diagram). After that, it was super easy.

    PROS: Easy to use. Effective.

CONS: Doesn't magically thread the cords itself?
