Defenitely recommend to any one who wants to do small cable installations around the home. For the first couple of connectors, It needs a little bit of practice adjusting the position. After that it was easy.

Versatile tool, perfect tool for low voltage work
Pretty neat tool that I bought since the store bought compression tool would not work with RCA compression connectors. This a versatile tool for a home theater contractor or a DIYer.

    Thanks monoprice!

A solid, relatively simple tool that compared quite favorably to the one my local cable installer was using. The installer had a hard time believing me when I told him what I paid for it after trying it out himself. We couldn't tell the difference between the connectors installed with his expensive name brand tool and this one from Monoprice, visually or by checking with his test meter.

I found the adjustable nature of this tool to be incredibly valuable as I've been using a variety of manufacturer's connectors (Monoprice, PPC, and no-name from the local electric store) between my place, my family's, and my girlfriend's - it's worked great with every fitting I've tried thus far. I'm very satisfied with this Monoprice product!

This is the tool to get!
If you are going to be installing F type connectors AND RCA ends, this is the one you want. Very versatile tool and very good quality. It's a little more (only about $6) than 3357 but it's way less than local store. Do not get the 3357 tool if you are going to be doing RCA ends. I made that mistake and ended up wasting $20.

    Great tool for pro installation
It took some getting used to for me to get the technique down for using this, but I had messed up several coaxial connectors using a cheaper tool. Once you know what you're doing with this tool, you'll almost never foul up a connector. I highly recommend this - and an additional pack of connectors at first to "practice" on!

PROS: Really the only way to go for coax installation cheaper tools just don't cut it

CONS: Takes some getting used to, and maybe some pliers to open once in a while

Works great on F connector and RCA and BNC
Works great with SNS F connectors. Also works great with RCA and BNC compression connectors. This is a very professional ratcheting tool that can be used on a large install without hand fatigue. This tool is an incredible bargain.

    Works great
It just works. First tool I've ever own to make my own coax cable. If I knew it was this easy, I would have bought one long ago.

PROS: Does exactly what it says

    CONS: None I can find
