Pros: Very competitively priced.

Cons: They break if you look at them cross-eyed.

I bought 50 of these things and sometimes they break within minutes, sometimes they last for days, as long as you don't touch them or move the connected cable. If you plan on using these, make sure you order plenty of spares like I did.

Pros: price

Disappointed with this item. Most of them fell apart when taking from equipment.

Connect RCA inputs to Monoprice Studio Monitors

Pros: * Gold plated
* All metal construction

Cons: * A bit long

I got two of these to connect my Monoprice 5" Studio Monitors (product 605500) to my Monoprice 12" subwoofer and PC. The monitors take a 1/4" TS or XLR balanced or unbalanced input but do not have an RCA connection. These simple adapters remedy that issue perfectly. My only complaint is that the adapter is a bit long, causing the cable to stick out the back a bit more than if I just use a straight 1/4" TS cable. No sound issues whatsoever, the sound is crisp and clear with no noise.

Perhaps buy an extra... and a pair of pliers.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Weak construction

I thought these were just about perfect for my use, until one broke inside my mixer. I've been happy with Monoprice's cables, but will be looking for an alternate solution to replace this adapter, along with my pliers to extract the stuck piece!

Pros: Good until it's not

Cons: Broke easy

Broke into 2 pieces while plugged in, not solid metal.
