Cons: Loose fit on female end
No color coding option
These adapters do the job when attaching cables with less than 1" clearance flat wall mount. The only issue I had is the female connector is a bit loose, which as I mounted the tv against the wall caused some cables to pull out. it was simple to re-attach as the adapers are not color coded, so had to take the tv off the wall, remove the adapters to connect to cable first and then attach the combo to the right color input
I'm a huge fan of Monoprice and its items, but this was my first disappointing experience. The connectors did not fit snugly enough to stay securely mounted to by HDTV, and are easily bent out of shape.
by Monoprice Administrator Hello,
Thank you for your review and truly sorry to hear about the issues experienced with PID 7233. If I may ask, is this an issue with all four adapters on this order? Are you able to send me pictures of the adapters that bent out of shape? If so, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, if you would like, I can assist you in setting up an RMA for replacements to see if they will work better or a return RMA if truly dissatisfied with the adapters. Whether you decide to go with the replacements or a return, it will be of no additional cost to you. If you want to continue with an RMA, please let me know if you would prefer to obtain replacements or return them. My apologies for any inconvenience and thank you in advance!
I needed to move my sub-woofer deep into the corner against the wall...

Pros: Very low price and remarkably good quality (for that price).
I needed to move my sub-woofer deep into the corner against the wall, and the RCA audio cable I was using was a high-quality coaxial cable, so it previously stuck out the back of the sub-woofer cabinet by at least three inches (sub-woofer is NHT's classic "Ten" which is a powered sub-woofer about the size of a large laser printer!). This worked great.
