1 PAIR OF High-Quality Gold Plated Speaker Pin Plugs, Closed Screw Type

Pin plugs make speaker installation a breeze. They are designed for use with amplifiers or speakers fitted with either traditional binding posts or spring clip connectors. Not only is it easier to make the connection on the back of your amp, it is safer, with no chance of stray wire strands creating a short across contacts.

These high quality plugs are the closed screw type and can accept bare wire or spades. They are sized to fit speaker wire from 12 to 18 AWG. Each pair comes with one plug color coded red and the other coded black, for easy polarity identification.

The plug body is made of brass, which is then plated with gold to help prevent corrosion and ensure smooth connections.

    Features:

    • Can accept bare wire and spades
    • Can accept 12 to 18 AWG speaker wires
    • Grooved pins prevent slippage
    • Color coded black/red rings for maintaining proper polarity
    • Secure, positive contact with binding posts
    • Corrosion resistant, 24K gold plated brass plug
    • Each order includes ONE pair (2 plugs total)

    Perfect Plugs
These pin screw type plugs are high quality and work perfectly to fit into my receiver. They were easy to install and I have noticed they sound much better than just putting speaker wire directly into the receiver.

    Wonderful to have around
I bought these on a whim, and they've already come in handy. I mostly use banana plugs, and have been temporarily swapping speakers around, and wanted to attach some small speakers with spring loaded connectors. I kept the banana plugs on my speaker wire, plugged those into the back end of the pins, and attached the pins to the speakers. No fuss, quick, and it will be really easy to undo with the next change.

PROS: Simple hookup for reliable connectivity

    Excellent quality and value
Easy installation with no tools or tiny screws. Solid, secure contacts via closed-screw mechanism and and grooved non-slip pins, with quality brass with gold plating. Accepts most gauge wire, including 10-12 gauge. Looks great and color coded to organize bare wires. Note: Make sure pieces are screwed together tightly: I wasn't aware that both ends unscrew, including the tips all of mine were slightly loose out of the package.

PROS: Great for large gauge wire fitting into small spring-clip terminals.

CONS: Make sure all pieces (including tips) are screwed on tightly.

    Fast and Easy
Over all I would buy again. Good price, easy to use once you get the right lengh measured out and looks good.

PROS: These are fast and easy to put together and look good. Fit 12 gauge wire in them.

CONS: You have to strip just the right amount of insulation away. If you get to much wire in the plug when trying to screw it together it will not screw together. Also by the time you put the wire in the banana plug and put it in the jack in the wall it sticks out a few inches more then I liked.

    Great Bargins
I have bought other cables and connectors from Monoprice in the past and they have always been top quality. These connector pins are no exception. Monoprice offers the highest end products for the best prices anywhere. In addition to these Speaker Pins have purchased several HDMI cables as well as several sets of audio cables for connecting components to my home entertainment system. Everything has been comparable to Monster Cable equipment at a fraction of the cost. There is absolutely no way to go wrong by selecting Monoprice products.

    Great Value
Amazing buy. Cost way more in the stores. Just used 36 pairs. Don't forget the head shrink tubing! I used 3:1 1/2" poly tubing because I wasn't them to look super nice. Plan for 2" of tubing per banana plug (I cut mine 1.75"), and a little extra for when you mess up.

    PROS: Inexpensive.
    Makes swapping components easier.
    Looks classy

    CONS: None.
