10x6.25 Inches Graphic Drawing Tablet w/ 8 Hot Key - Legacy Systems up to Mac OSX 10.7.5

Unleash your inner artist with this Graphics Tablet from Monoprice!

From the time we first grasped a crayon in our little hands, we have grown used to the use of the pen/pencil form for writing and drawing tasks. So, while a mouse can be used for simple drawing tasks, a graphics tablet with a pen stylus is a more natural and controllable input device.

This graphics tablet has a 10" x 6.25" drawing area in a widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio. It features 8 programmable hot keys on the left side of the tablet and 16 preprogrammed function keys around the edges of the drawing area. It boasts a 4000 LPI resolution, a 200 RPS report rate, and 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity on the pen, allowing you to produce light, wispy strokes, as well as heavy, bold strokes, depending on the pressure used.

The tablet includes device drivers for both Windows and Mac OSX. Bonus software, which provides pen functionality to Windows XP and Vista systems, is also included. Note that the bonus software is not compatible with Windows 7+ or Mac OSX.

The tablet connects to your PC or Mac using a USB 2.0 connection.

Great Tablet for a Great Price

Pros: Easy to install, very intuitive, responds well, working great with Photoshop.

    Cons: Occasionally has sensor issue*

    * Again, could just be my computer for all I know.

Works great, easy to install and use. I have been spending a lot of time using it thus far. There is a few issues with it, however I don't know at this time if it is the tablet itself or if it is my computer since my current PC is about the kick the bucket. Still a great tablet and you can't beat that price for the size of the tablet! Would totally recommend to anyone who asks.

Great as a tablet, but the software has grown worrisome

Pros: Copious amount of drawing space, easier on the wrist
    Comfortable pen grip
    Excellent pressure sensitivity
    Very accurate calibration
Pen battery lasts long, I'm still using the same one it came with
Pen nibs last a long time too

Cons: Blue Screen of Death every now and then
Hotkey buttons are easy to accidentally press
Cursor sometimes disappears when using Paint Tool SAI (But can be easily fixed)

I got this tablet last christmas as a gift from a family member, because I'd expressed interest in having one again. I've owned several before, including tablets from Genius and Wacom. Overall, the tablet is wonderful and functions very well- I've produced quite a few full-color art pieces I'm very proud of. However, since installing the software and using the tablet, I have received numerous BSOD error messages, their main commonality being that they feature the message "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" and the timing almost always varies- it can be when I have the tablet plugged in, right after I plug it in, or right after I unplug it. Usually it happens when I have it plugged in. I'm running Windows 8.1, so I can understand that it might not be fully compatible in terms of drivers, but this is worrisome because I can't afford to replace my computer or lose my saved work. I have no way to back up my computer currently. Hopefully I'll find a solution, so far I'm about to replace my current drivers and see if that helps.

    Great First Tablet

Pros: Great price. Nice large size, Good response to varying pressure. Nice on-screen fidelity to movement.

Cons: I don't like the integrated USB cord. The placement is fine, but I'd like for the cord to be detachable for portability.

I've never used a drawing tablet, but I was ready to go out of the box with this one. I downloaded the latest driver software and everything went as planned. I've used Krita and Gimp and have had success with the pressure sensitivity. This thing can go from nearly imperceptible strokes all the way up to full pressure with a fluidity that surpasses the price point.

Overall A Good Tablet with a few updates needed...

    Pros: Price
    Ease of use(Plug-n-Play)

Cons: Drivers(if you want to use side buttons)

Needs better windows 10 support in my opinion. It will work With windows native drivers but the side buttons will not function properly. Then after installing the proper drivers from the website(After getting a bunch of url not found errors) it worked as it should until the computer was rebooted and then it went into the buttons not working again. Overall this is a good tablet if you bought it for the larger writing surface and not the side or functional buttons.

    Calibration issue

    Pros: Good pressure sensitivity
    Managable, larger size
Easy to use, just plug in and go

Cons: Hot Keys are basically pointless
    Pen isn't very ergonomic
    Mine may have broken

I really love this tablet, and have had it for a while now. It works great with the illustration program I use, MediBang Paint Pro, however something has recently gone wrong... I think it is either broken, or in need of a calibration. However I don't know if thats possible or how to do so... See, usually I have no problems with it, but I plugged in my tablet today to work on a piece and it seems to have lost its X axis... Its only moving on a Y axis to the far sides of the screen. Even weirder is the fact that when I hold the pen over the right side of the tablet, my cursor stays on the left side, but if I move anywhere else it goes to the far right. So Ive basically lost all responsiveness when it comes to the X axis, but it'll move up and down on the far right side all day- as long as I hold the pen anywhere other than the right side. So what should I do? Can it be recalibrated? Or should I just buy a new tablet?
