With this product, I was able to rescue the data on a laptop drive that 3 computers would not recognize!

Then, I was able to rescue the drive itself.

PROS: Easy to set up. Didn't need any drivers.

CONS: none, really. I haven't used the usb ports.

    Handy Little Device`Eric
This is the most often used device I own. I really really recommend using the Esata interface vs. the USB. If you don't have an Esata port, consider purchasing a internal sata to esata bracket. They're sold for ~1$ here on Monoprice. Don't make separate orders, just go ahead and spend the dollar now, you will want it. Provides much higher transfer rates. Drives can get slightly toasty when you are writing to them continuously, but nothing too crazy, and certainly normal use causes less issues.

PROS: Convenient form factor, includes Esata cable, works without issues, no problems using in Linux.

CONS: HDD Door broke after ~ 6 mo. RMA'd without issue. Biggest con is being without the device while it's being RMA'd. I rely on it on a daily basis.

    Great product.
Works as advertised. I use it only on USB to a MacBook Pro. One note, I have to use the USB port on the left side of the gen 1 MacBook Pro. If I use the one on the right side I get a "USB low power" warning. It may be just this computer though!

    PROS: Small, efficient.

    Nice little desktop tool
Very handy, does exactly what I need it to do with no problems.

    PROS: Fairly small
Easy to insert drive and remove it

    CONS: don't have any yet

    Great Customer Service!
Purchased this USB Hub and there was an issue. The card readers worked, but the hub wouldn't read any hard drives that I plugged in. Did an online chat with Tech Support and they suspected a bad chip. The hub was RMA'd, but here's the outstanding customer service part. Monoprice immediately sent me a replacement at no additional charge even before I shipped the defective hub back! The new hub arrived about a day or two after I submitted the RMA. All is working well now with the replacement working like it's supposed to. Thanks for the outstanding customer service.

    Docking King!!
Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

PROS: Great price and works very, very well for an IT specialist such as myself.
Even bought two for home - one attached to my media player and another one on my main computer. Every techie should have one. Easy to use as well.

CONS: many products can you say that about.

    Greatest IT Tool
I work for the military and am constantly moving user profiles from one workstation to another. This docking station has cut hours off of that task.

PROS: Ready to use right out of the box. Swapping drives in and out is a breeze.

    CONS: Absolutely none.

    Removable Hard Drive Reader
    Highly recommended!!!!

PROS: Shows all your removed hard drive contents which you can copy to your current hard drive.

If you have access to your old hard drive (remove it from your old computer) it's like having
    an instant backup.

PROS: Works great. Transfer rate of 60 - 80 Mbps over e-sata. Good build quality.

CONS: Not hot swappable with Win7. I have found that if I put my computer into hibernate and then swap the HDD it saves time over rebooting.
