    Unreliable

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: Unreliable, they consistently break

Like others have said, while they work they work fine but eventually they will stop making a stable connection. I've purchased 10 of these and tossed all but one so far (haven't opened it yet)

    Mostly good

    Pros: Low price
    Usually good quality

Cons: Occasional bad cable, usually the micro usb connection.

Two of the three are the usual excellent quality, but one was defective and only lasted a day. Was very unfortunate, but not too bad due to the low price.

I still recommend monoprice to friends, but am somewhat annoyed at the occasional bad cable.

It works, but they don't last for more than a few months, working well.

Pros: When they aren't worn down, they work.
Charging speeds are good, even with the length of the cable

Cons: Connector wears down within a couple months.

This wire works, and charges at perfect acceptable speeds. However, I noticed on each of these (since I purchased multiple cables), that after just a couple months, the cables would not stay connected well to my phone. Both physically, as in, they became easy to pull out of my phone, and electronically, as in, the cable would be plugged in, but it would only charge if set in a certain position.

One is good, the other...not so much

    Pros: Length
Actually charges as fast or faster than my OEM cables. I base this on an app I have which tells you the mA. It's usually between 1300-1700 mA

Cons: Of the two I ordered, one cable is perfect but the other doesn't connect properly. By that I mean it will fall out if you move your device to much. It's almost like it's cut just a mm smaller then it should. All the OEM cables and the other cable I ordered at the same time all connect snug with my various devices.

As far as carrying a charge, the "loose" one is just as good as the other cable so I just keep that one in the bedroom with some tape around it. That way I know not to use it with my phone. Last thing I want to worry about is my having to grab my phone at night, use it, put it back down and wake up to see the battery almost dead because the cable fell out enough to stop charging.

Next time I order from Monoprice, I will add another cable or two so I can move this one to "emergency" duty.

I ordered 2, one for my phone because the OEM cable was starting to fall apart and the other for my tablet because it came with a 3' cord.
