    Pros: Length

Cons: Only capable of trickle charge

I bought this cord to charge my wife's LG G3 while she was using it on the couch. I should have read the other reviews and specs more closely before buying. This cord is 28 AWG which is not big enough to charge a phone that is actively being used. While she was using her phone she still lost battery but at a slightly slower rate. I now use it to trickle charge my phone overnight. If my phone is below 40% charge when I go to bed it won't be fully charged 8 hours later when I wake up. Read the specs and be aware of what you are buying before purchase.

    Great Product

Pros: Length, tight connection & PRICE

    Cons: None

I bought two of these cables and they work great. The connection to the phone is tight no chance of it falling out. These might actually be better than the cable that came with my Motorola phone!

    Will not charge Phone

    Pros: Long

    Cons: Does not charge phone

I got this cable because the 6 foot cable that my phone came with was not long enough to reach where I wanted to place my phone. I figured since all I was doing was using the cable to charge my phone, not transfer data, the length wasn't too much of a concern.

However, my phone does not charge when using this cable. It registeres it is plugged in, but the battery actually drains instead of charges. I ordered 5 of these cables in total, tried 2 of them thinking maybe I got a dud, but both are the same result.

I have tried 3 chargers, all with the same result. One is the fast charger my phone came with, one is a standard 2A 5V wall plug, and the final was a Monoprice 2.1A dual USB port charger. All of these chargers work fine with the 6 foot cable.

If it wasn't for the fact that return shipping would cost more than the items themselves, I would be returning these. Oh well, worth a shot. Just wishing I didn't buy as many as I did.

    Very fragile

    Pros: Long cable

Cons: The micro USB end is extremely fragile, I broke 2 in 2 months. They were attached to an Xbox one controller. When the controller fell off the couch (a height of around 20 inches), the end was bent and progressively failed over time. The same thing happened to both cables, it would be nice if they could handle slight abuse.

If you want to use these for a game controller make sure they are treated gingerly. A the weight of the Xbox one controller was too much for them.

    Hello Chad,

Thank you for your review on PID 5138! I apologize for the issues experienced with these micro USB cables. If you would like, I can setup an RMA for replacements. However, please note that this cable is currently on back order so there will be a bit of a wait, unfortunately. I show that there is currently an ETA of 9/6/2015, however that is an estimated time of arrival and is not a guarantee. If you do not wish to wait, I can set the RMA up for a refund instead. Please let me know how you would prefer to proceed. Thank you in advance!
