- High Definition Audio, including SA-CD, DVD-Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio™, and Dolby TrueHD™
Note that Active HDMI cables are directional. Check each end for markings indicating whether it should be connected to the source or the display device. Connecting them backwards will not hurt anything, they just won't work until connected properly.
Note also that only one Active HDMI cable should be present in any single cable run, even if using a switch, splitter, or matrix. Connecting multiple active HDMI cables in series will cause them to fail to reliably transmit the video signal because each is trying to do the same thing.

Best HDMI Cable On The Market

Honestly, the best HDMI cable on the market, and whoever differs doesn't know anything about the technology behind these cables. Go ahead, spend $60 to $100 on HDMI cables in the store that are literally just a regular HDMI cable. I'm sorry but I laugh at people who go into Best Buy or PC Richards, and drop over $100 on an HDMI cable when you can spend $10 on these cables or even less on a regular HDMI cable from Monoprice that will be better than the ones in the store anyway. I have 3 of these cables and they all perform flawlessly. You can just tell how good they are. I swear I have a crisper picture using these than normal ones even though the technology in the cable isn't designed for a more crisp picture. The chip in these cables are there to deliver great quality at long distances. Let's say you buy a 25ft regular HDMI cable. You're going to have better quality using a 25ft redmere HDMI cable instead as the chip pretty much boosts the signal for long distances. However, I use them anyway because I like to have the best of the best. If you're only going let's say 3ft then a regular HDMI cable would be just fine but if you want the best of the best then buy these HDMI cables.

Pros: - Thin
- Quality appears good
Cons: - None
This cable is very thin compared to my other HDMI cables and made this easy to run through the conduits in my desk. The color and sharpness is exceptional and I'm very glad I made this purchase.
Nice flat cables

Pros: Extremely thin, high quality cables
Cons: Does not seem sturdy enough for in-wall
I may be wrong, but this just didn't seem sturdy enough to hide behind walls. Great overall looking cables, and I had no problems with performance, but I eventually ended up upgrading to the brandied cables as I feared longevity of the cables behind the wall.

Pros: Amazing sharpness, color, and flexibility.
Picture quality with this cable was THE BEST I've ever seen. You just have to make sure you connect it with the right end coming from your source to the other marked end to yer TV. They ARE marked so you can't miss the labeling. If you were to buy a comparable quality cable at Best Buy it would cost you 3-4 times as much, at least. These cables are very thin and are very flexible. You CANNOT go wrong with this cable folks.
