    Not capable of 6gbps
The price was reasonable, however when attaching this to 6gbps drives you get a lot of command timeouts. It took me a while to diagnose this issue until I found somebody having similar issues during heavy write bandwidth saturation. After a laborious amount of debugging with the controller I decided to buy a different 8088 cable rated for 6gbps line speeds and lo and behold, my issues disappeared.

I'm requesting a refund. To be fair the product description never claimed to be 6gbps rated, but that information should be posted.

PROS: Probably works just fine for 3gbps SATA / SAS drives.

CONS: You get worrisome command errors if you use it with 6gbps drives.
