    Monoprice's stuff in general

Pros: The Quality to Cost Ratio is extremely high on everything I have bought from MONOPRICE.
The Warehouse is in the U.S. so no waiting for the slow boat from China.

Cons: The only con is something for politicians and philosophers to figure out.

The connectors slide in nicely and the manufacturing quality is consistent with previous orders. I expect that their quality will only continue to improve.

Great for 1080p, but not 4K

Pros: great hard to find length
    reliable for 1080p

Cons: will not transmit a 4k signal

Bought these for my Panasonic GH4 to use with a small 6-inch monitor. They work great for 1080p. But I recently upgraded to a 4k recorder/monitor from Convergent Design and neither of the cables I bought will pass the signal. That being said, the 3ft version of this cable passes the 4k signal, no problem.

Needed and extra cable for my laptop so I did not have to keep plugging and unplugging the one I have to move from home to work and connect to large monitor. Works great.

Lost wifi on my Acer Switch 10 when using these cables

Pros: The connection from my Acer Switch 10 was made to my HDTV.

Cons: I lost wifi on my Acer Switch 10 whenever this cable was attached.

I have a new Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-16GW laptop/tablet. It requires a "micro HDMI to full size HDMI" cable in order to connect to an HDTV. I ordered 3 of these 7556 cables. When I connected the cable from the laptop to the HDTV, the screen did appear on the HDTV however, I immediately lost wifi reception. When I disconnected the cable, wifi reception was restored to the PC. This seemed like a counter-intuitive result. Why would I lose wifi just because I connect an HDMI cable?

I did extensive research on the internet and I found that this is a common issue with these types of laptop/tablet computers. In my research, I just happened to find a tech forum entry from a guy who had the same problem with his laptop/tablet pc. He solved his problem, after trying several different cables, by using a competitor's cable.

I decided to give the other cable a shot. It worked great. No loss of wifi.

I don't understand what the difference is between the Monoprice and the other cable. I buy almost all of my cables from Monoprice and I have been rarely disappointed.

I contacted Monoprice, and as always, they stood behind their product. I received a full refund, including shipping charges. I applaud Monoprice for their excellent customer service policies.
