I don't think these cables are shielded correctly

    Pros: Cheap
    There are 4 cables

I hooked this up to my recording interface and noticed some noise when handling the cables.

    Pros: CHEAP!

    Cons: cheap!

The cables seem to be of reasonable quality. Actually, for the price, these will get the job done. If you are expecting something amazing, move on. My summary would be 'they work'. Oh, don't make my mistake, I got the wrong XLR ends and needed Males. Oppps! I was in a rush. No harm, I used them on my new Mic.

Pros: Rugged construction 43pF/ft capacitance (lower than Canare) 10.0mm OD cable good flexibility neoprene strain reliefs on both ends metal XLR connector shells color coded on both ends 12" fan-out (max distance between plugs when connected)

Cons: Connector contacts not gold plated TRS ends are molded plastic outer jacket not suitable for outdoor use

Very good quality cable. I've got several of these running under carpeting in a high-traffic area and they've held up great. I wouldn't run them outside or across a dance floor because the neoprene outer jacket will pick up dirt and isn't as durable as PVC. I also wouldn't leave them in the sun for the same reason.

Pros: This item costs a quarter of the equivalent cable from Amazon or Guitar Center. It's a great idea to allow you to move your mixer but still have a central location for mics to plug into.

Cons: Doesn't work for connecting speakers.

I was hoping to use it to connect PA speakers to the output from my mixer. But the XLR end is the wrong gender for that application. The fact that I have to buy 4 gender changers eats into the savings...
