Connect sound components and other audio equipment with this Premium 1/4" TRS Patch Cable from Monoprice!
This cable features TRS/Stereo plugs on each end. It uses 16 AWG stranded, pure copper conductors and employs copper braid shielding with 97.5% coverage to ensure that stray radio frequency and electromagnetic signals do not degrade the audio quality of your performance. The plugs are gold plated to provide smooth, corrosion-free connections as well as maximum electrical conductivity.
With two separate conductors and the common shield ground, this cable can be used as an unbalanced stereo patch cable or as a balanced mono patch cable.

Pros: Great quality
Cons: None so far
I'm using two of these cables to connect each of my audio monitors to my audio interface through the 1/4" TRS connector ports. So far, these have been excellent in providing a great listening experience with no audible discrepancies to the sound. These cables are thick but still flexible enough to position pretty much any way you need around your workstation. I also like the fact that these cables have a flexible spring sleeve where the wire and the end connector meet, which helps prevent any crimping and / or excessive bending that may damage the wires around that critical point. Overall, these cables are really the best bang for your buck that you can currently find out there. Why pay for overpriced brand name cables when you can get these that do the same job? Get them. You won't regret your purchase.

Gold plated, you are richer than you think
Screw-able tips(I would guess if the connection breaks you could solder it back)
Thick wire that gives me confidence
I had static in my studio monitors, I installed those and it has partly vanished. I probably have issue with my source but I can't blame the wires for this.

Pros: Gold terminations for oxidation-free connections
Metal spring strain reliefs at both ends of cable
Screw-tips for serviceability - should the need arise
Surprisingly robust/heavy for the price
Cons: Monoprice did not have a cable with a 90-degree connector at one end, so I compromised by getting straight connectors at both ends.
I needed some TRS 1/4" cables for my electronic drumkit. Since the jacks are located at various distances from the source, this meant getting cables of varying lengths. Monoprice definitely had the cables I needed at a reasonable price.
Prior to this, I was using the wires from an old Yamaha DTX kit. These had a 90-degree connector at one end which puts less stress on the drum inputs. However, Monoprice's straight-connectors do a great job of plugging-in and staying connected. Added benefit - the straight connector provides a lot of space for labelling.
The cables themselves are 16-gauge which are twice as thick as the Yamaha wires. I'm sure these will outlast any other wire that Yamaha, Roland, or Alesis can put out.
I'm extremely satisfied with the accuracy of my order, the speed in which it was fulfilled, and the overall quality of the product. Monoprice remains my favorite source for cables and wires.
