    3ft Coaxial Audio/Video RCA Cable M/M RG59U 75ohm (for S/PDIF, Digital Coax, Subwoofer & Composite Video)

This Digital Coax Cable is made from premium quality RG59U coaxial cable with double shielding to prevent signal degradation caused by EMI and RFI interference. The conductor is made of 99.999% pure bare oxygen-free copper, while the shield consists of an inner layer of Aluminum-Mylar foil with 100% coverage and an outer layer of copper braid. This cable is ideal for conducting S/PDIF digital audio signals and other high-bandwidth content, but it is also ideal for composite video, audio interconnects, and other line level RCA signals.

The VW-1 rating on this cable indicates that the jacket has been treated so that it complies with fire safety regulations, making it safe for use through or within the walls of residential class buildings.

Moved the sub to a new location for my theater system

    Pros: It from MP

Cons: let me know if you find one

I bought one of these from MP in the past. That one is still working perfectly I just need a shorter one now.

    Thanks MP!

Functions, But Get the RG6 Version

    Pros: Technically Works

    Cons: Loose Connection

The 3 ft length is good for connecting source components together. I used these to connect my receiver to a separate amplifier. It will work for its intended purpose, and so long as you don't touch it, it'll be fine. However, be warned that the connection is loose and can get disconnected by accidental contact. When messing with the cables behind my receiver, I've actually disconnected channels/speakers without even realizing it. This has happened more than once, they are that sensitive. It's good for saving a few bucks, but you should get the RG6 version for a more secure fit and peace of mind.

    Pros: None

Cons: Ends sloppy loose bad connection

Ends are so loose they are unusable
I purchased two cables and they were same way. While my cable from besy buy fits fine.
This is attaching onto a monoprice wall plate .
Confused why so many positive reviews, fake?

Thank you for your review. While on the off chance you have just gotten ones from a bad batch did you want to try a replacement to see if it'll work better? Please let me know, thank you!

    Does Precisely What It Says

Pros: Arrived when stated. Transmits PCM or bitstream audio from Blu-ray player to receiver with no issues.

Cons: Doesn't make my receiver DTS-HD?

I always go to Monoprice when I need a cable. They are a bargain compared to every other seller, and you know they will just work.

    Performed as expected

Pros: It does the job for a fraction of what Radio Shack would have charged.

    Cons: Plug feels somewhat loose.

It's a cable that does what you need it to do. It may not have the same performance of cables costing 30-50 bucks but then, what do you expect? I used this to hook up an extra sub in my 'man cave' so this was perfect.
