    100ft 22AWG 3-RCA Component Video Coaxial Cable (RG-59/U) - Black

Component video, also known as YPbPr, produces the highest quality analog video. This cable includes conductors for each of the three component video channels (Red, Green, Blue) and is ideal for connecting the analog video output of DVD players and VCRs to the corresponding inputs on your TV.

The conductors in this cable are made from RG-59 coaxial cable, with 22AWG cores and shielding to prevent EMI and RFI interference from disturbing your video signal. The connectors are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.

    Sturdy, well-made cable

Pros: Well made, excellent shielding very sturdy, yet flexible.

Cons: Connectors very slightly loose in my DVD player sockets.

This cable's quality of construction belies its value price. I did not know what to expect (especially for this fairly long cable length), however, the video signal is bright, clear, and crisp. Connectors fit, not tightly, but firmly enough to hold them in under normal circumstances.

    Didn't work : (

    Pros: Inexpensive, good-looking.

Cons: At least for this particular one, it didn't work.

Although I ordered the cable back in March of 2015, only recently did I need to try it out. Simply put: it didn't work. I am trained electronically, so I did troubleshooting with two different flat-screens and two different DVD players. The verdict: the problem was the cable. Bummer! For the cheap price, I'd try another one in the future. In every batch I suppose there's a lemon, I just happened to get one.

Pros: Excellent construction, reliable, fits well

    Cons: None

I've used many of these to connect DVD players, Blu-Ray Players and others to receivers and TV's and they never let me down.

    loose connections

Pros: it's 6 feet long like advertised

Cons: The conductors keep slipping off the connectors which results in losing video.

Let me first say that I buy a majority of my cables from monoprice and have no issues, but this wire is a dud. I'm using this cable to connect my directv receiver to my AV receiver. The cable keeps sliding off of the connection of my receivers. The wire has plenty of slack. Its like the connectors are to large therefore not producing enough grip for the cable to stay connected.
I can't use this wire. I wish I kept the generic wire that directv supplied me.

nice solid cable. thick and strong

Pros: thick cable, strong, nice for pulling through holes in wall/floor for running through the house.

    Cons: nothing really

ran this cable down one wall cavity, across the basement ceiling and up through another wall cavity and had to pull with a little force to get it where i needed it (was a difficult situation and couldn't reach some areas they were going through). got it all hooked up and it still worked excellently. i was concerned i would damage it by pulling on it but it is pretty tough and held up to the mistreatment. now I'm enjoying watching tv that's hanging on the wall hooked up to a/v device in my closet!
