35ft 22AWG 5-RCA Component Video/Audio Coaxial Cable (RG-59/U) - Black
Component video, also known as YPbPr, produces the highest quality analog video. This cable includes conductors for each of the three video channels (Red, Green, Blue) as well as the two stereo audio channels (Red and White) and is ideal for connecting the analog output of DVD players and VCRs to the corresponding inputs on your TV.
The video conductors in this cable are made from RG-59 coaxial cable, with 22AWG cores and shielding to prevent EMI and RFI interference from disturbing your video signal. The audio lines utilize 27AWG stranded conductors. The connectors are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.
- 3 RCA Video (Y, Pr, Pb) + 2 RCA Audio (Stereo L/R) Connectors
PROS: Fantastic price, and quility
PROS: Works well without signal degradation.
Had little challenge to pass through this component + VGA + a Cat 6 Via a holed face plate. It was tight fit.
But the physical quality is great. Tested and its all working.
PROS: I loved this one, it feels heavy duty. also its like a flat snake of wires (5 of them) with 3 video signal lines are super thick.
PROS: People were nice but return cost not being covered sucks. Offered to send another same cable to try. This would have been about the same cost to Monoprice with me trying to upgrade to rg6 version of cable and paying the difference in cost of the cable. As it was, I used other means to solve my problem. Technical tried to help, but this problem was way above them.
CONS: Horrible image on TV with Bad 60 Hz. Hum Was going to return, However cost to send back was 90% of original cable cost. Just kept cable and cancelled RMA. I can cut this cable into shorter cables for use in the future. I would not recommend this cable to anyone for anything. The capacitance and poor shielding was not satisfactory for hooking up a RGB output( Cable Box) to RGB on a HD tv. Spend the extra cost on the RG-6 instead of the rg-58 cable. The hassle of saving a few dollars is not worth it.
