50ft 18AWG CL2 Premium 5-RCA Component Video/Audio Coaxial Cable (RG-6/U) - Black

Component video, also known as YPbPr, produces the highest quality analog video. This cable includes conductors for each of the three video channels (Red, Green, Blue) as well as the two stereo audio channels (Red and White) and is ideal for connecting the analog output of DVD players and VCRs to the corresponding inputs on your TV.

The video conductors in this cable are made from RG-6 coaxial cable, with 18AWG cores and shielding to prevent EMI and RFI interference from disturbing your video signal. The audio lines utilize 27AWG stranded conductors. The connectors are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections. The connector housings have color-coded, knurled rubber rings for easy identification and a perfect grip when installing or removing the cable.

This cable is CL2 rated, indicating that it conforms with fire safety and insurance requirements, making it safe for use through or within the walls of residential class buildings.

Pros: A solid alternative if you can't use HDMI

I was using a Monoprice HDMI cable with Redmere technology to slave a tv in another room to my cable box when it suddenly stopped working. Since the cable worked when connecting a DVD player to the tv, the nearest I could figure out was that the cable company had updated the firmware in the STB. In researching, I found others in the online community who had had this same problem. This cable solved it.

Pros: The picture quality has improved greatly!

Cons: A bit thicker than I would have liked. You must have lots of space to run them.

I was using cheaper cables before, but once I replaced them with these higher quality cables the picture looks sharp and clear!

Pros: Great quality for this length. Fairly bendable for its thickness.

Cons: Only small gripe is that the two audio cables are slightly shorter than the video cables. But was able to adjust.

Highly recommended for those of you who can't use HDMI cables, but need Component instead. Fed off my Directv receiver to splitter and then to 2 other TV's. Solved my problems without any fuss and priced to my budget.

We're a professional AV company and used these cables on a project with a tight budget. The quality of the assemblies were very good and the performance exceeded the specification. They arrived carefully packaged and on-time.
