1000FT 23AWG Cat6 500MHz UTP Solid, Riser Rated (CMR), Bulk Ethernet Bare Copper Cable - Orange

Avoid having excess Ethernet cable lying around by building your own cables to the exact length needed using this Bulk Ethernet Copper Cable from Monoprice!

    Features:

    • Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 6 Ethernet cable
    • 23AWG solid, pure bare copper conductors
    • CMR (Riser) fire safety rating
    • 500MHz bandwidth
    • 1000 foot roll

    cat 6 bulk cable
excellent product, priced lower than most other sources including in town with no shipping.

PROS: price, price, and fast shipping

    Excellent!
All in all, this cable, and Monoprice, exceeded my expectations. I ran fishing through my house and my buddies place without much difficulty. The cable is rigid, but flexible, and perfect for squeezing down a tight wall. Don't get this for desktop patch cables though - or if you do cut all lengths as exact as possible. The stuff is so solid that it will lift my switch up when fully populated as opposed to bending to lie flat.

PROS: Easy to fish, durable, and not bad to terminate

CONS: Not great for patch cables to laptops due to rigidity.

    Orange stands out
Worked great, found this to be half the price of "similar" cable at the local stores. I chose orange so it would be easy to see in the attic.

Didn't have any issues pulling the cable, never tugged or snagged on me. Newbie home installer, I ran 4 cat6 cables to each port, instead of pulling each one individually, I pulled all 4 in the house and taped them together every 5 to 10 ft with electrical tape, and then pulled that bundle at once.

I'm guessing pro-installers have multiple boxes and pull them at the same time. I ended up too short on one run, and too long on the other, but I was able to rearrange and make it work.

Don't be afraid to pull excess at the end, there is plenty to spare :)

Didn't have any problem wiring up to my keystone tool-less connectors, nor with the patch panel punch down.

The box is big and heavy, expect a noticeable shipping charge. I paid $25 to ship to FL.

    Great price for CAT6
Stiff enough to pull through walls, attic, crawlspaces. Seems to be well made and twisted pairs are tight.

Least expensive 100ft CAT6 bulk cable anywhere.

    Good cable, good price
1,000 of high quality CAT6 cable packaged well and easy to pull from the box.

    PROS: High quality

    Well packaged

    Good product. Awesome value!
I scoped out Cat6 at several places. I usually buy everything on Amazon but it was this product that had me glued to Monoprice. Works like any other box of wire I have used and After doing about 30 runs at 25 feet I have not had any signal issues or shorts.

PROS: Good quality wire and pulls well from spool.

CONS: The orange was a bit more dull than the images on site but most of it is in my walls so no biggie there.

    5/5
Good quality cable. Distance markings start at 1000 and go down to 0 so you easily know how much is left in the box.

    Great value
It's Cat6 cable, what else is there to say? The product doesn't differ greatly in quality based on where you buy it, but it does differ in price. Monoprice has by far the lowest cost I have seen. Although their shipping can be painfully slow and expensive (for us on the east coast, anyway) it still ends up being much cheaper than their competitors.

PROS: Great quality cable, great price.

    CONS: None!

Great cable, small problem with box
A little more rigid than others, but seems to be a very well made cable.

Could be a one-off, but the first two boxes ripped when carried by the punchout (where you put your hand through the cardboard to lift the box).

I do wonder if Monoprice uses cheaper / thinner cardboard than my other suppliers. We ended up using a cart to move boxes around the install floors, since we didn't trust the boxing.

PROS: high quality cable at a good price

CONS: box seems a little flimsy and broke when carried using the handhole
