If you need solid riser rated cat5 this is the stuff to get. I've bought wire from a dozen manufacturers and this is by the far easiest to work with. The rip cord is a single piece of string that doesn't fray, so it's easy to clip when punching down or crimping. The wire its self has a nice feel to it, gets pulled easily, and is fairly slick (i.e. goes down conduits easily).

PROS: Easy to cut, rip cord is a nice solid piece of string, wires are easy to separate, solid construction.

Purchased both 880 and 884 before and restocked again due to the quality of this cable. I like that the box doesn't easily falls apart, the cable doesn't kink like other cables of the same and sometimes more expensive brands and lastly the quality of the insulation. I find the outer sleeve perfect for the way I cut it which doesn't give a rubbery feel when rolling your snips around it. Makes my installs a lot faster.

excellent stuff for the price, will buy again.

PROS: standard cable, good quality, didn't coil and bind up on itself too bad, cant beat it for the price.

CONS: no unicorns in the box.

    Good cable
Using Cat5e instead of Cat6 for short-term use. The building we're running this cable in is being replaced in a few months, in the mean time we need a reliable connection and this cable is serving its purpose!

PROS: Durable, cheap, standard cabling easier to punch down/attach ends to.

PROS: Nice cable that doesn't easily get kinked. A lot of the cable I've used in the past would easily bind up in long pulls but this seems to be very effective in not doing that. Nice this shielding as well.

    CONS: Haven't found one yet.

I am not super familiar with Cat-5 cable, but this is as good as or better than anything I was able to find locally. The price was the same as a 500' box from the home improvement center. So, in summary, good cable, fantastic price.
