I recently had the opportunity to test Monoprice HDMI cables with equipment
running at 1080p 60Hz with HDCP 148.5MHz The results were very positive.

Please note that success at 1080p depends on a lot of factors including quality
of TMDS transmitters, receivers, and anything you might have connected to the
cables like HDMI switches, repeaters, HDMI>DVD adapters, etc., therefore these
test results should be taken as a data point and not as a guarantee the cables
will be problem free @ 1080p with your specific equipment.

For example, during initial testing I had discovered through process of elimination
that one of the HDMI>DVI adapters I was using could not reliably pass 1080p. At
first I thought the cables were the issue, but after switching out the adapters, the
    cables worked great.

Also please note, even though some of these cables are listed as only 1080i certified,
they did nevertheless pass 1080p without issues for the equipment combination I used.
See this post for what was tested at the factory:
    http://www.avsforum.com/avsvb/show...4&&#post6953664

The process of listing a cable as passing visual inspection involved looking at black
screen for 30 seconds to detect sparkles, then watching video for 1 minute to detect
    additional artifacts.

Sharp LC45GX6U is a 1920x1080 LCD display which accepts 1080p and 1080p/hdcp when
devices are connected directly to the panel, bypassing the external video processor.

Hope you find this information useful.

Pros: Seemed to be a very high quality cable

Cons: Bad connector on HDMI end of cable. Four other cables (HDMI to HDMI) were great for the video set-up.

After setting up the muti video splitter with receivers I will and have recommended Monoprice products to others.

The pins inside of connector are bent. I first noticed a intermittent connection to splitter and when I checked the HDMI end I noticed the bad connector.

    Pros: Good price. Seems sturdy.

Cons: Stopped working after a week.

I buy all of my cables from Monoprice and have always been impressed. This time was no different, but the cable stopped working after a week of use. I have no doubt they will let me return it. However, considering their low prices, it's probably just not worth the hassle. I'm going to assume it was just a bad cord and order another one.

Pros: Immense selection and so far everything I have received has been of great quality, not to mention very good prices.

Cons: The large selection of products in any given category can be confusing if you don't know exactly what you are looking for, so you do need to read the descriptions carefully.

Any time I need an odd cable, connector or computer/electronic device I cannot find at my local electronics store, or just don't want to pay their inflated prices, I come to Monoprice for the same (or better) quality and pay much less. The selection can be a little overwhelming but I always seem to find just what I'm looking for - terrific store.

Pros: Cable is of high quality build
    Cable is functional

    Cons: Huge ferrite cores
    Stiff, thick cable

This cable works flawlessly for my purpose of connecting the HDMI output of my graphics card to the DVI input of my monitor. A bit thicker and stiffer than I'd like, but completely functional and a really good value.
