2ft 16AWG Power Cord Cable w/ 3 Conductor PC Power Connector Socket (C13/5-15P) - Black

Whether the power cable that came with your equipment are too long or too short, you can find replacement cables in the perfect length right here.  The standard 3 prong wall plug (NEMA 5-15p) to PC connector (IEC C13) cable was made commonplace by PC power supplies.  Today, they can be found providing power connections for many different products such as computers, monitors, printer, projectors and HDTV's.

These cables are great for replacing damaged cables or for keeping cables neat and tidy by allowing you to use only the lengths you need.

16AWG is a great medium weight cable; thick but not too unyielding.  These cables are designed to carry up to a 13 amp, 125 volt load.  They are safe, strong and reliable.

    • Connectors:  3 prong male NEMA 5-15P to 3 prong female IEC C13
    • Gauge: 16AWG
    • Max Voltage: 125V
    • Max Amperage: 13A
    • UL Listed:  Yes
    • RoHS Compliant:  Yes

    Short but stiff

    Pros: Short

    Cons: Stiff

I got this because I needed some light duty 2' and 3' cords, but Monoprice did not have the 2' length in 18 gauge wire. The 2' 16-gauge wire cables work fine, but are thicker and not very flexible.

Cons: I didn't realize that the power cord from my TV wouldn't fit in the female end....Take a CLOSE look at the ends because all three prongs wouldn't fit!

    Hello Zach,

Thank you for your review and my apologies for any inconvenience with PID 5283. It seems as though you were looking for a 3-prong extension cable. If that was what you were searching for I would recommend PID 5297, which would have the female 3 prong connector to plug in your TV's male 3-prong connecter.

I personally would recommend using a longer cable rather than an extension cable. Does your TV allow you to unplug the power cable from the TV? If so does it have the same connector as PID 5283's female end?

    Great Cables

Pros: Big, thick, and black, just the way I like them.

Cons: Overall length includes the plugs, so it's actually slightly shorter than 2ft.

I was a little leery of these cables since I wasn't sure the quality, or where they've been. But once you get one in your hands, you want to get more.
