3ft Designed for Mobile 3.5mm Stereo Male to 3.5mm Stereo Male (Gold Plated) - White

So you've got a smartphone filled with your favorite tunes. You put a case on your phone to protect it from scratches, but now your 3.5 mm audio cable won't fit into the headphone jack. Now what?

Now you get one of these 3.5 mm cables designed for mobile devices! The 3.5 mm connectors on this cable are designed with a 3 mm long by 6 mm diameter shank between the electrical connection and the connector housing. The 3 mm shank length is sufficient to penetrate through the thickness of most protective cases, while the 6 mm diameter is thin enough to fit into the hole of almost any case. The connectors are gold plated for smooth, corrosion-free connections.

This cable has a 3.5 mm stereo male plug on each end.

    Pros: It's perfect.

    Cons: None.

Incredibly simple cable. Incredibly well built and designed. Works great in cell phones with cases that don't work with other cables with shorter ends. Bought a few of these.

Pros: Cheaply priced but very high quality, you get more than what you pay for with these. Very nice construction.

Cons: Kind of still out the box so might be an issue to those that are use to cheaper brands.

After purchasing a used set of white Beats by Dre Solo Headphones, I needed a new aux 3.5mm cord (the orginal one had broken and I was using a cheap one from the local Dollar General)....well I didnt know what to expect when I saw these, but since we use Monoprice cables with the phone charger stand at my job, I knew I was in good hands! What I got blew me away, this cable is much thicker and more solid then any other aux cable I had used up to this point, the construction was much better than what you would find typically at a local drug store or gas station counter...but the best thing was the sound, there was a huge improvement with the use of these cables vs the cheaper ones I had been using....and the price they are a steal. Thank you Monoprice, im a customer for life now lol.

    Pros: -Look relatively pretty

Cons: -Work for about 30 min, if at all
-Plugs conduct signal so if you touch or rub them your audio feed goes all wonky.
    -Cost a lot

These cables are GARBAGE. I'm quite sure I didn't just receive a faulty product, because I ordered 3, and none of them work properly under the best of circumstances, and certainly not under . I'm using them with Pid 8323 and have tried them with multiple other products. Lucky to get a single channel audio.

To preempt the monoprice response - you can improve product quality testing your products.

Pros: Fairly sturdy construction, gold-plated connection plugs, reasonable cost and shipping. Excellent warranty terms.

Cons: None two weeks after receipt of order. Only the test of time will tell.

Though I 've only have had the two I ordered a short time, my initial impression of their quality would fall in the category of better than average. My 19 yr old daughter needed one for her android because her retail one about a year old was failing. If this one lasts that long or longer I will be a happy camper as the saying goes. The price for this item was way better than retail, shipping cost reasonable and no sales tax to the Midwest. I bought two so that I can hand her a new one right away when the need arises.. As of now, I would highly recommend these to others as they seem to be built well and durable. The lifetime warranty on all of Monoprice's cables is an added incentive to give these a try. Was curious about the specifics of their "lifetime warranty' so I called customer service to inquire. The rep said that their cables are covered for any reason they fail, even neglect and abuse, so why not? Rep recommended keeping your paper receipt where it can be found if needed for a warranty claim or at least to record the order number so they can pull it up in their system. I asked why that was required and was told they only keep order records for so many years. So that may be their way out of covering themselves. Be smarter and keep your order or order confirmation email somewhere where you can find it five years from now. In some cases one may be required to return the non-functioning cable for inspection. When so, Monoprice's will send a prepaid shipping label for the return. Not sure if they have to inspect it first before a replacement is issued. Didn't think to ask. In another scenario, depending on the type of cable, I'm guessing, they said returning the old cable first may not be required. Don't know of anyplace online or retail that offers that kind of.warranty, so give 'em a try.

Cons: gets loose after some months , your audio starts messing up (looses the right output )

I got this cable to use in my car.
It was fine while it lasted.
Even thought it looks well built, the end starts getting loose like any other cheap aux cable and your sound gets affected. You gotta keep moving it because it looses the right audio output for no reason.
