6ft Premium 3.5mm Stereo Male to (2) 3.5mm Stereo Female Cable (Gold Plated) - Black
The 3.5mm (1/8") stereo TRS connector is more commonly known as the Headphone Jack on portable mp3 players and mobile phones. This cable features a male 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug on one end and two female 3.5mm stereo jacks on the other end, each with molded connector housings and strain relief boots. Each connector is gold-plated to ensure smooth, corrosion-free connections.
The cable is made of heavy-duty coaxial cable for each conductor. The conductors are 22AWG and each conductor is shield to prevent EMI or RFI interference from entering your audio system. The cable is 12mm x 6mm thick, while the connector housings are 41mm long x 15mm diameter.

Pros: It's a 6 ft long white cable
Cons: In review
This is the second time (out of 4 times ordering these cables) that I've gotten something that kept falling out of my device and had bad wiring. Once upon a time these cables would last 6 months. This one didn't even last a day

Pros: Seems solidly built
Materials appear of high quality given the low cost
Cons: Bulky, heavy, and not very flexible... so it won't work well for portable applications
Inconsistent audio connection
I have tried connecting three different 3.5mm stereo male jacks (two male-to-male 3.5mm stereo cables and one 3.5mm headphone jack) into both of the female connectors, and all connections were inconsistent on both of the product's female ports. Even a slight movement of the cable, like what you would expect while wearing a pair of headphones, results in the audio connection going in and out repeatedly, with buzzing and popping.
I have since used my stereo cables and headphones with another adapter (the kind that features no extension) without issues, so process of elimination points to the Monoprice product causing the problems. I think the problem results from the product's female jacks not firmly securing the male jacks I'm not sure if it's due to a design defect or simply a manufacturing defect.
Normally, I'm very happy with Monoprice cables. I've never had an issue in the past, but this adapter is a finicky dud.

Pros: Exceptionally high quality!
Cons: NO CONS.
Work flawlessly to split the audio from my PC out to two separate sets of AL251 speakers w powered subs. Why two sets of speakers? More sound is more better right? Actually it started out as a curiosity. Could it be done & if so how would it sound? Especially considering these speakers are a decade old. This cable certainly did its job. The output was transmitted flawlessly. Movies, music, games, everything of course some of the credit goes to the speakers. But they only sound good if they receive quality signals. These cables deliver! I will undoubtedly purchase more cables for my home theater.
